Wknd Boarding (Fr-Sun) 💕

My husband and I live in a quiet, gated community in the Spring Valley area, where your pup will have plenty of space to relax, play, and feel right at home. ⸻ ❤️ What Makes Our Home Different • I only board one family’s dog(s) at a time, so your pup will enjoy a calm, low-stress environment with personalized care and attention throughout their stay. • Crate-trained dogs are preferred. Please bring your pup’s crate so they have a familiar, safe place to relax. We occasionally step out on weekends for about 1–2 hours, and during that time dogs will be safely crated. If your dog is not crate trained, please reach out before booking so we can discuss whether our home is the right fit. • Established clients whose dogs are not crate trained are always welcome to book with us again. Once we’ve gotten to know your pup and they’re comfortable in our home, I’m happy to make exceptions on a case-by-case basis. ⸻ 🕓 Availability • I work full-time in healthcare Monday through Thursday, so I dedicate my weekends to care for your pup. • I currently offer boarding Friday through Sunday. • A 2-night minimum is required for all weekend boarding bookings. • Thursday night bookings/drop-offs after 6pm can be accommodated with advance notice. ⸻ 🚗 Drop-off & Pick-up • Friday Drop-offs: As early as 7:00 AM (earlier times may be available with advance notice). • Sunday Pick-ups: Ideally by 9:00–9:30 PM. If you need a later pick-up, please let me know in advance. I work early Monday mornings, so I appreciate your understanding. ⸻ 🏡 Our Home We provide a clean, comfortable, and loving environment where your dog can settle in and feel at ease. • Our home is thoroughly cleaned after every guest’s stay. For everyone’s health and safety, all dogs must be current on vaccinations. Potty-trained pups are greatly appreciated. • Dogs are welcome on our sofa and bed. Please let me know if your pup is allowed on furniture or if you’d prefer they stay off—we’re happy to follow your rules. • I’m happy to care for senior dogs, shy dogs, or dogs with special needs, and I’ll gladly follow any routines, medications, or care instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. ⸻ 🌳 Backyard Our spacious, fully fenced backyard includes a designated gravel potty area and artificial turf for running, playing, and sunbathing. • Dogs are always supervised while outside and are never left unattended. ⸻ 💧 Food & Water Your pup will always have access to fresh, filtered water from our reverse osmosis system. • Food and water bowls are provided. If your dog uses a slow feeder or a special bowl, you’re welcome to bring it. • Please pack your dog’s regular food, treats, and any special snacks to help them feel at home. • Favorite toys, blankets, medications, and comfort items are always welcome. • I do my best to follow your dog’s normal routine so they feel happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. ⸻ 💕 Final Notes • I look forward to welcoming you and your pup into our home and providing a safe, loving place to stay while you’re away. • Meet & greets are encouraged whenever possible to make sure we’re a great fit for one another and to help your pup feel comfortable before their stay. • Meet & greets are available Monday–Thursday after 6:00 PM and Friday–Sunday by appointment.

Outstanding job watching my Shaq. Every picture sent shows Shaq as relaxed as possible. He normally has separation anxiety but it didn't show at all. Will be using Julie again in near future!

Second time using julie and blue ran straight to her all excited like he was ready for his vacation ! Julie makes him feel at home and I can truly say it’s his new home away from home ! She sends so many pics and videos and makes sure you know your baby is very well taken care of. He was so comfortable he was drooling in his sleep lol. Julie is a must !!! I’d give more stars if I could!!

Julie watched our 2 boxers for us for one night while we were in town visiting. She kept us updated on how they were doing and sent lots of pictures showing them having a great time. We could really tell she loves dogs & takes great care of them. We were very happy with how she cared for them & would definitely recommend her for anyone needing someone to watch their pup.

Calendar and availability

Schedule

Pet care is a natural part of my weekend routine. As someone who enjoys being at home, I’ve created a calm, pet-friendly space where your dog can feel comfortable and cared for. With my background in healthcare and flexible weekend availability, I’m able to give each dog focused, one-on-one attention. I only take one boarding guest at a time to ensure your pet gets the best possible care in a private, loving environment.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has no pets
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 4-8 hours

Safety, trust & environment

My home is clean and tidy, and is thoroughly cleaned after every guest’s stay. We have a spacious, gated backyard with a designated gravel area for potty breaks and turf for play and sunbathing. Pets are welcome on the sofa, and I can accommodate crating using either your own crate or one I provide. If your pet has specific care requirements, please feel free to share them—I’ll follow all instructions closely to ensure they receive the best care possible. We have a reverse osmosis water system, so your pup will always have clean, filtered water. I can provide food/water bowls, but if your dog uses a slow feeder or has a special bowl due to dietary needs, you’re welcome to bring it—just let me know what works best for you.

A typical day

I have a large, gated backyard where your dog can safely enjoy outdoor play or simply relax in the sun. For the safety and comfort of all pets in my care, I do not take dogs out for walks during their stay.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Takes only 1 client at a time
Julie can host up to 2 pets per night
Please let me know if your dog has any special needs, behaviors, or routines I should be aware of—this helps me provide the best care possible. If your pup is on a special diet, just bring along their food and treats. If crating is part of their routine, feel free to bring your own crate, or I have one available for use.
