Pet care experience

I'd love to meet your fur baby!

I've grown up with animals and caring for them has come to me as a second nature. My childhood dog and cats were really one of my first teachers and have shown me how to express loyalty, patience, love and care. Spending time with animals is very personally fulfilling and grounding for me and I would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member. I cater to each animals needs and can give both high-energy care and more laid back company. Whether that's just staying at home and playing with their favorite toys, giving good tummy rubs and cuddles, or talking a nice stroll through the neighborhood. Playing with them and seeing that love and energy emanate from them is what indicates to me that I'm doing the job right. I started dog walking and sitting im 2017 with the service Wag™️and I also previously worked at a pet boarding facility for a year and I have experience administering medicine.

Julie is such a sweetheart and took wonderful care of my two beloved pups. She went above and beyond to give them plenty of affection and carefully followed all the notes that I had left. She has good intuition and made good judgement calls when I was unavailable in the moment to answer a question. She is communicative, kind, and thoughtful with sending adorable photos as well. I feel at ease when I know Julie will be the one looking after my babies!

We had the opportunity to work with Julia to look after our 60lbs Black Lab Mix. Julia was punctual and very communicative with us. She was able to take our dog for regular walks in our area and sent over pictures after each walk. She was crucial in helping our dog make the transition from puppy to dog. She had access to our home, provided food and water and kept our home secure while respecting our personal space. She is an amazing dog-walker. We count ourselves very lucky that we were able to fit into her schedule!

Any triggers or aggressive/protective tendencies is helpful for me to know for my care. Triggers could be as small as squirrel or perhaps seeing other dogs on walks. Aggressive/protective could be something like food-aggressive, meaning that they are reactive if you get between them and their meal or potentially squabble w their siblings over food or toy-protective which would mean that they aren’t aggressive but don’t want anyone messing w their toys. Stuff like that
