I have worked with almost every kind of animal in both private practice, rescue and research. My many years of working in the veterinary field has given me the skills needed to care for many species from newborn to seniors. I can provide medical treatments and have taken classes in behavior training. I'll take care of your pet(s) as if they were my own and thoroughly enjoy doing it.

I am happy to come to your place or welcome well-behaved pets in my house. I can easily separate my critters if there are any concerns. I feel most pets are most comfortable in their own environment; I am flexible with what works best for you.

Julie was amazing to work with! Great communicator and most of all my cats loved her the moment they met her! The cats felt at home with her and she did a great job making sure they were loved while we were away! I would recommend her to anybody looking for pet care.
Julie did such an excellent job with my two cats. I have one adult cat and one kitten, and she made sure that they received cuddles, play, and attention every day that she was with them. I received check-in notes and pictures of each cat from every visit. Julie went above and beyond by keeping me posted in advance if her schedule was changing, offering to water my plants, giving extra enrichment to my kitten Isa, and letting me know when the laser pointer was running low. I made it home to two happy kitties! I’m so grateful for Julie‘s level of communication, professionalism, and care.

Julie was great with our 2 cats! Took great care of them and even got along with our more shy cat. Made sure they were fed, brushed, and litter robots were working!
Julie was great with Nighttime, playing with him and making sure he did not feel alone during his time i was away. She sent photos every day and was very pro-active with sending updates about him every day!

Schedule
I work full time at NC State Vet School and am available for early am and evening sits during the week. I generally have whatever time needed available on weekends. I like starting and ending every day with pets (and all the time in between).
