Fur mama to a poodle, besties with my bf’s cat, and a proud fur auntie to many! I see myself as that one cool aunt that shows you a good time and let’s you stay up late to play a little longer, but for pets 😎 But with great fun also comes great responsibility and I work very hard to keep your pets safe, comfortable, and happy so you can travel or work in peace. A little about me: I’m a 30something y.o creative professional that freelances in social media, graphic design, and occasionally hosts markets/events in Houston. I have an anxious toy poodle that was abandoned by his original owner and a very vocal & affection-hungry cat that I help my bf take care of. Several of my friends/family have asked me to watch their pets & homes for a while now so I am excited to share the love and my petsitting magic with more pet owners of Houston! With every client, I strive to be the type of sitter you’ll want to rave to your friends/family about and your pet adores (or maybe just tolerates if they’re a cat).

Safety, trust & environment
For all my clients, I send a pretty lengthy questionnaire before having the pets in my care. This includes questions about the pet’s average day, bathroom habits, allergies, triggers, hiding spots, and likes/dislikes. The more I know, the better! I know your pet has a certain routine they are used to so I try my best not to disrupt that. I prefer in-person Meet & Greets so that we can discuss the expectations we have for each other and your pet can get familiar with me of course. It’s important I know of your pet’s history of aggression, anxiety or bad habits so that we can prepare and have the appropriate plan in action for potential incidents. This is for everyone’s safety and sanity. Tell me everything! I want to be prepared for it all. Despite all the different needs and personalities of my fur clients, I treat all animals under my supervision with as much love & care as I treat my own. I know it can be anxiety-inducing to trust someone with your pets and in your home so I am very prompt about communication. I send detailed & consistent updates of your pets with a surplus of (✨the best✨) pictures/videos every morning and night. *Note for clients wanting to book evening walks* For my own safety, I do not offer long walks in the late evening.

Julie is a fantastic dog walker. We reached back out to Julie after a year to help walk our girls due to medical limitations. Our two dogs love Julie, and we have had the best interactions and communication with her. Could not recommend a better person!
Julie was an absolutely amazing dog sitter, my dog Poño was in great hands. She provided detailed updates after every visit! Every picture update she sent showed a happy, smiling dog who was getting lots of love and attention! Julie also captured some of the best photos I’ve ever seen of him! It was so reassuring to see how engaged and happy my boy was while spending time with her. Every report card and note she left after Poños walks was thoughtful & detailed. I cannot recommend her highly enough…I know Poño misses her already. We will def be booking with Julie again!
Julie was outstanding - amazing communication, daily updates, and helped me feel at ease while my kitty had a tough week with tummy issues. I had to contact her every day because of his changing needs as he was sick. She also had great ideas to help him eat when he had a low appetite. She was loving and playful and my cat immediately liked her.

This was our first time using a dog sitter for Sugar and I cannot express how pleased we are with Julie’s service. Julie went above and beyond my expectations of detailed update and photos for Sugar’s drop-ins. She was extremely attentive to the details of Sugar’s care and made sure he had fun & felt loved, I can clearly see it in his face & body language with the photos she sent! Cannot recommend enough!!
Julie did a great job with our cat! She was responsive, prompt, and professional as always. She always provides updates, checks around the house for accidents, and provides plenty of play time. Would recommend her to anyone!

Schedule
Petsitting is a big part of my life since joining Rover and I’m since still freelancing at the moment, my schedule is pretty flexible. I can accommodate most dates and times because of this. Working remotely = more chill time with your pets 😎
