Pet care experience
Hi there! I’ve worked from home for the past 12 years, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. For the last 9 years on Rover, I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, large breeds, small breeds, and dogs with special needs. I’ve also looked after many cats and provide cat sitting as well. I’m experienced with administering medications everything from pills to injections and I’m comfortable supporting pets with special accommodations, whether that means slower walks for seniors or extra playtime for energetic pups. When your dog stays with me, you’ll receive regular updates. I typically send one in the morning and another at night, always with pictures so you can see how your pup is doing. 💛 A Personal Note In August 2025, I said goodbye to my beloved dog, Bear. She was my heart, and losing her has been disheartening. While I’m not ready for another dog of my own, I miss having a furry friend around and welcome yours as my own. ✨ What You Can Expect • A safe, loving, and clean environment for your pup • Personalized care tailored to puppies, seniors, or special-needs pets • Daily exercise, play time, and loads of cuddles • Consistent communication with photo updates • Experience with dog boarding, house sitting, drop-in visits, and cat care I do my best to keep my home smelling fresh and welcoming, so I kindly ask that pups arrive clean and that owners share honest details about their dog’s behavior. That way, we can make sure it’s the right fit and your pet feels safe and comfortable here. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of making friends with so many sweet and loving pets through Rover. I would be honored to care for yours next. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family soon! 🐶🐾🐱
Reviews
I love that Julie sent videos of Tibbs so I saw how happy Tibbs was while boarding with her. He was well taken care of while we went away over the weekend. It was also very easy to communicate with Julie during Tibbs’ stay. I will book Tibbs with her again 100%. Thank you Julie!

Julie was wonderful—took great care of our pup Lemon and sent adorable updates complete with cute pup pictures. She is very responsible and followed all of our instructions to ensure that Lemon received good care. We hope to book her again and would recommend her as a sitter to those looking for care for their fur babies. Thank you for giving us peace of mind while we were traveling, Julie!

Julie was wonderful with Molly! She was very responsive, sent daily pictures, and provided regular updates which gave us peace of mind while we were away. Molly looked happy, comfortable, and well cared for the entire time. We would absolutely book with Julie again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable dog sitter.

We booked our dog Stevie with Julie for a 4night stay. At drop off, the interaction was brief. About a day into the stay, Julie sent a video where we noticed a red, raw spot on Stevie’s nose that was not there at drop off. When I asked her about it, she was not sure what caused it and suggested it may have already been there or could have resulted from our dog moving blankets around. The only time I’ve seen Stevie with a raw nose like this was when we previously boarded her at a specific kennel where she was alone/anxious for long periods of time (that’s why we use Rover now). Communication from Julie was consistent, we received daily updates and photos.
