Experienced, Reliable Loving Care!
Responsible dog pet parent for over 25 years! Experienced in house sitting and dog walking for extended periods. Currently, I work at the Elk Grove animal shelter helping to secure forever homes for the resident dogs. Prior member of a pet therapy team which made over 100 visits to nursing homes and Alzheimer’s care facilities. Experienced in giving pet medications and specialize in the small-medium size dogs, including senior care pups. Passionate about fur babies and will treat them with tender, loving care. Please note, an overnight sit is approximately 12-14 hours (arrival 6-7 pm thru 8 am departure) much like a person's normal work day/hours. I will leave in the am to service my other clients. If a mid day return visit is required, that is booked as a separate drop-in visit.

Where do I even start? Julie takes caring for your pet to a whole new level. The first question I would want to know is: Is she trustworthy? And, do I trust Julie with my dog? My response: HANDS DOWN YES! My dog, Dexter, absolutely LOVES Julie. In fact, if I say so much as say “Do you want to see Julie!?” to my dog, he knows exactly what that means and that he’s about to be loved on and spoiled rotten. Julie takes caring for your animal seriously; she respects any restrictions or rules you might have (such as no people food or if they have allergies, etc). I have absolutely ZERO CONCERN when Julie is taking care of my dog. She’s just someone who understands how to do things right! I am beyond fortunate to have met her and so grateful that I can depend on her caring for my Dexter dog & know that he’s loving all of the attention, love, and walks she’s giving him.
Julie took great care of our senior cat while we visited family out of town. She spent time to really know our little BooBoo, her preferences, her routines and would make sure she gave BooBoo the snuggles and pets too. This made a huge difference, because in the past, our cat would get stressed and often develop health issues when we returned from longer trips. It was great comfort to come home to a happy and healthy cat. Julie was even kind enough to make sure food and litter supplies were well stocked and gave us updates and photos as we requested. Julie is organized, thoughtful, pays attention to all details. She is very knowledgeable about all animals, but her genuine care and ability to go the extra mile to understand their individual needs too makes her extra special. We are so grateful for her!!!
Julie was very kind and professional. It was obvious that she is very experienced with animals and my cat liked her right away! I would highly recommend her for care and plan to use her as my sitter in the future. Thanks again, Julie!

Schedule
I have a flexible part time work schedule. I’m available for drop in visits and overnights normally seven days a week, allowing for greater accommodations.
