We love them all! Mature and reserved, playful, skittish, couch potatoes, and snugglers...we adapt to the personality of your fur baby to make them feel at home. The vast majority of our clients are gentle, small and mature so if you are looking for a calm, peaceful environment with constant companionship and gentle play, you have found the right home. Our guests enjoy full access to a large tropical, fenced in yard with plenty of places to sunbath, keep cool under shade, or even to take a dip in the pool. Your pets safety is our top priority. I have completed the American Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid class and am comfortable recognizing symptoms of distress and taking appropriate action. Maria is retired and home all day to shower love and attention on our guests. Her motto is “dogs are better than humans”. She sleeps in our living room when we have guests and they are welcome to snuggle and sleep with her. We have decades of experience and have always had a dog as part of our family. We would be honored to care for your family member while you are away. Your baby will be loved, get lots of snuggles, and will be a part of our family. Rest assured we will follow any directions given and will provide a safe and loving home away from home. Daily rate is good for a 24 hour period -Pickup/drop off may be made between the hours 7am and 8:00pm. (Outside of these timeframes will be on a case by case basis and a small fee will apply) -Willing to pick up/drop off within 5 mile radius for small fee. -We operate on a first booked first serve basis. -Meet and Greets are a great way to ensure we are a good fit, so we do request one before a first booking (some exceptions made based on situation). Maria is retired and home all day. She is a mature woman who loves dogs more than people. She offers constant, loving companionship to our guests. I work full time and look forward to my daily walk once I get home (weather/daylight hours permitting). We do have a large yard with plenty of places to explore and play. We offer a fenced yard, sleep with our guests, and since someone is always home, we don’t generally crate unless requested by parent. We have a large home with plenty of barriers so we are able to separate if needed.

I’m so glad I found Julie and Maria! They took amazing care of my senior boy. It’s always hard to trust someone new with your dog child but they made it easy! They provided updates and adorable photos and it was nice knowing my boy was in good hands and having his own vacation while I was away! I can’t thank them enough for the great care they provided :)
Julie and Maria were great with my dog Olipop! They sent updates and made him feel safe while also encouraging him to play with other dogs. Would definitely boom again :)
Julie and Maria were great for a daytime doggy day care. Sent updates and were respectful of his shyness to take time and socialize with the other pups. Will definitely book again!
Julie and Maria took wonderful care of my dog Macha. They kept me updated with lots of fun photos and messages about everything she was doing. Macha was safe, loved, and clearly happy. Since this was her first visit, their constant communication really put me at ease. Highly recommend!
Our dog Cassie a shy 10 pound Havenese loved her stay. In fact she's come back in a new and improved version. They are so kind and loving. They have great strategies for making shy dogs comfortable. She had a wonderful experience and although we don't need boarding often we will be coming back.
I feel so lucky to have found Julie & Maria!! My two dogs Waffles and Wrigley stayed with them for a week and were so well taken care of. It really made me feel at ease knowing they were in such good hands. We set up a meet & greet shortly before the intended stay where I was given a tour of the home and got to meet the family. Julie kept me updated with photos and videos during the stay. I never had a moment of worry while they were with her & Maria! I think the dogs had a better vacation than we did with all the love and attention Julie & Maria gave them. I will definitely book with them again for future trips!

We love to walk to the local university. It is so big that we can walk a new route each time we go. There are lots of cool statues to sniff. My boy loves to play tug and fetch with our guests as well. We play scent games too.
