I am a mum to 2 dogs 1 cat . 2 were rescued and 1 was adopted. All my pets live with with their human Dad in West Africa. I spend a lot of time in UK Winters there with them all. My first dog was found by local fisherman in a state, mango worms, fleas, ticks you name it , she's a wonderful happy healthy dog now, they named her Puppy Jules , she also gets "Baba". She is very well known on the beach and the area where we live. Ava the cat I found at the local market, she was so small, dirty and hungry, she's grown up to be the best hunter I've seen. The last family member is Molly she was a hotels family pet, the owners moved back to UK and approached us to take her in. We did and we love her, its as if she has always been with us. I've had animals most of my life, I don't have any in UK because it would be unfair to leave them for 6 months, I miss caring for them , walking them, talking to them, in fact everything about them so thats why I offer my time for pet sitting. Animals make me happy, they generally bring me joy, they dont care what you have, what you look like they just love, especially dogs. A simple " good boy" or "hello beutiful girl" can start a very happy waggy tail or even a look and a smile and that tail starts ........one of the best things in the world. 🫶

In someone's home it's the pets routine, care that's paramount. A meet and greet and emergency numbers are all I need. I can ask all the questions I need to as you can too at a meet up prior where possible

We are so grateful to have found Julie and lucky that she had space to look after our 2 lovely feline family members Julie is so caring and nurturing. Our younger cat Tinsel is very nervous of people and I was quite worried about leaving him for a week as I thought he would not come in the house..how wrong I was. Julie worked her magic and he came in every night for her, letting her cuddle and fuss him and eating his meals for her. It's a miracle as he won't let anyone other than us go near him Our elderly lady Sasha was another worry as at 20 she has her routine and being part Siamese she still loves a lot of attention from us. But Julie looked after her so well and we felt very reassured Julie really understands cats, she gets to know them and she is in time with their personalities To top it all off Julie washed our towels and bedding, hung them out, cleaned and tidied and cooked our tea!!! She's an angel. 10 stars
Another wonderful dog sitting service from Julie, Larkin is always so happy when she comes and we get regular updates and videos so we never have to worry about him. She takes good care of all his needs and makes sure that he sticks with his routine. Always a delight to have her in our home and we don't feel like she's a stranger! Thanks Julie.

Julie cared for Winston for a full day in our home. This was after a prior meet and greet where she came and met Winston and already started to build a bond. Julie sent us regular updates throughout the day, with photos and videos, which was really lovely to see while we were out! He was clearly very happy, comfortable and well cared for. We appreciated that she took into account and accommodated his specific needs and routine. She also very kindly stayed later than planned when we got stuck in traffic on the way home, and the house was clean and tidy when we returned. I wouldn't hesitate to have Julie care for Winston again. Her passion for animals shines through and she's a very thoughtful, compassionate individual.
Julie is just so amazing and attentive to Larkin. It was so clear to see that Larkin adores her and that they bonded from the get-go, it was beautiful to witness! She was incredibly caring and nurturing, giving him massages, taking him on lots of walks and attending to his every need. She sent us regularly updates on his day and what he was up to so we never had to worry. After having had a really bad experience earlier this year, we're feeling so relieved and happy with our choice to have Julie come and sit Larkin. She's such a wonderful spirit and full of positive energy for Larkin and us too! Very very happy! Thank you Julie!
Julie arrived nice and early on what would be a stressful day for me. She immediately put me and Evvie at ease and Evvie had a great day and learnt new tricks. I would love Julie to come to us again and I can start to plan some things knowing Evvie enjoyed spending time with her new friend.

Schedule
I retired early so my weeks and weekends are free when I'm in the UK. Winters I'm usually in The Gambia January to May but please ask as I do have some months when Im home
