Animals have genuinely been one of my greatest loves for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my dream was to become a zoologist (and possibly the next Jane Goodall!). That career path may not have happened, but my love for animals absolutely never went anywhere. I grew up caring for my childhood dog and later had the joy of spending 13 years caring for two cats of my own. Over the years, I’ve also been the go-to pet sitter for family and friends when they’re out of town, making sure their pets are happy, comfortable and well cared for while their people are away. I’m truly an all-around animal lover — dogs, cats, wildlife, insects, you name it. If it has life, I probably have a soft spot for it. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. I’ll treat your babies with the same patience, affection, attention and respect I’d want for my own. Whether we’re going for a walk, playing, having a good cuddle session or just keeping each other company, my goal is for them to feel safe, comfortable and very loved.

Schedule
I work full-time during the week, so my pet-care availability is focused around my schedule. I’m available anytime on Saturdays and Sundays, Friday evenings after 5:30 p.m., and on Mondays during my lunch break, generally between 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. My Monday lunch time has some flexibility when arranged in advance.

Your pet’s safety and comfort come first. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, routines and any special preferences or boundaries. I also understand that every animal has their own personality, so I’m happy to give an energetic pet plenty of play and attention or give a shy pet the time and space they need to warm up to me. In your home, I’ll treat both your pet and your space with care and respect.
Pets
A typical day
Each visit will be tailored to your pet’s personality and routine. Doggies can enjoy a walk at their preferred pace, plenty of time to sniff and explore, playtime, fresh food and water, and lots of affection. For cats, I’ll handle feeding, water, litter care, playtime and cuddles based on their comfort level. I’ll also send photos and a detailed update after every visit.

- Please tell me about your pet’s usual routine, temperament, comfort with new people, leash habits and any fears, triggers or reactive behaviors. I’d also like to know about medical needs, medications, allergies, feeding instructions and any history of escaping. The more I know beforehand, the better I can keep your pet safe, comfortable and happy.
