I love dogs VERY much and I promise yours will get spoiled and loved while you are away. You can travel and not worry because your fur baby will be safe, happy and get a ton of affection! He or she will enjoy a lot of play time outside, snuggles and belly rubs! Being in rescue, I have learned the value of slow introductions of new dogs into a new environment and pack. I feel that a slow approach is better and less stressful for all the animals. It is also easier to calm anyone that is overly excited, when there is ample time to meet slowly. Therefore, I don't feel a quick and forced meeting between all the dogs before their stay is the best way to do things. However, I am happy to meet with you and your pet ahead of time so you can get to know me, see where I live and allow me to interact with your dog before their stay. If you wish to have your dog(s) meet mine, then I can accommodate that. My dogs do not do well meeting new people, so I will be doing the intro of visiting dogs alone to mine, and owners can watch out the window to view the interaction between the animals in the fenced yard. My dogs are VERY energetic and tend to overwhelm a visiting dog for the first 10-15 minutes (their main goal is to lick the other dogs face)...but then all is fine. Please keep this in mind if you have a very small or very timid dog. I recommend booking with me if your dog is over 20 lbs unless he/she is great with big dogs. About this sitter: I am a working professional in the software industry. I am now pretty much full-time working out of my home, and have a very flexible schedule. I can usually accommodate most drop off and pick up times. Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover my entire life. I stop everyone walking a dog on the street to see if I can pet them. I also work for a rescue and foster several dogs per year. Meet my pets I have a very large yard with a 6 foot privacy fence. I have several of my own dogs - and they all enjoy having company! Your dog will be treated as though they are one of my own. They can bring their own toys and beds - but we have plenty for them to share. Your dog will also be able to sleep with us if you approve of that. My experience administering medication Yes, I'm happy to give medications including Diabetes injections.

Duper had recently had some health issues that have resulted in his becoming a pretty picky eater, Julie went above and beyond in mixing up concoctions so that he would eat. Thanks, Julie.
Julie took great care of Miles.l and checked in often. It was so nice to not worry while we were traveling.

Schedule
I work from home nearly all the time. Very infrequently might I need to go into the office during the week. I would let you know if that's the case prior to your booking a stay.

I have a 6 foot privacy fence and a very large yard. My house is set up to be very secure during your pup's stay!

A typical day
Your dog's sleeping arrangement Your dog will sleep wherever he/she sleeps at home. I am happy to have them sleep in bed with me if that is what they are used to! Time I'll spend with your dog Weekends I am home most of the day and night when I have visitors. During the week I am working from my home office so I'm able to take breaks often to allow for outside time.
