At home we have a contained garden, access to water in all rooms and a spare crate if required. Dogs are allowed on any of the multiple dog beds around the house or onto the sofa for a cuddle. We have a friendly dog to keep others company, she is nearly 3, loves to play and have a cuddle.

Information julie m. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know their main likes and dislikes and if there is anything that triggers them (loud noises, people touching their head, small children etc) so I can plan appropriate activities. Also any medication, allergies and feeding requirements. What training they have (potty, heal, recall etc) is beneficial and if there is anything you would like me to reinforce with them whilst looking after them.
A typical day
We do long walks around the local fields or woods in the morning, playing with balls and other dogs in the park at lunch and after work, and playing/training with toys in the house in between. Most days will consist of two walks (one long one short) but this can depend on weather and schedules. I also do feeding with enhancement for my dog and learning tricks/training for small treats or their dinner. Happy to do this with other dogs but will ask for permission first.

Pet care experience
Each dog is different so I adapt to what the dog needs each time I look after them; a longer walk, some cuddles on the sofa before leaving them, some work on basic skills. The most important thing is the welfare and happiness of the dogs, followed by as many pictures and updates as you would like. I've worked with dogs of a range of breeds and sizes, previously volunteering at a dog shelter I am comfortable with slightly more difficult dogs. I have a playful nature and love to take out dogs who like to play fetch or tug-of-war. We have always had dogs in our lives and had our eldest pooch for 11yrs. I'm often walking and looking after friends and families pets and have a love for all dogs. Although I generally do walks and drop-ins, I can board dogs on request. At home we have open living room and access to kitchen and enclosed garden with grass. Water provided in all room and dogs are allowed to come onto the sofa for cuddles. There are two of us at home most days and we have a friendly dog ourselves. We generally do one long walk in the morning, a play in the park at lunch and/or a training session/walk in the evening.

Julie was an absolute life saver! Our pups also had a great time ❤️

Julie has been fantastic, super prompt and incredibly reliable. Bonnie gives her a very enthusiastic welcome when she comes to the door and that tells me everything I need to know!

Thank you again Julie for looking after Lanei. I know she has been well looked after and I’ll be in touch when I need you next

My cat, Lanei, was in very safe hands. I appreciated the daily updates and photos and will definitely be asking Julie to look after Lanei in the future. Thank you Julie - I’ve returned home to a happy and healthy cat
