Experienced Home w/ 1 Friendly Dog

We’re a couple (35 & 40) offering a calm, loving home with an active lifestyle—perfect for dogs who thrive on both relaxation and regular exercise. We understand that every dog has their own personality, and we make their comfort and quirks our top priority. 🐶 Our Home Setup We have a very friendly young male dog (18kg, not neutered) living with us. Because of this, we can only accept dogs that are comfortable around other dogs. For everyone’s safety: • We cannot take dogs with aggression toward other dogs, male dogs • We do not accept females in heat (unless you want puppies in the future) 🔒 Safety First Your dog’s safety and wellbeing always come first. Our home is on the first floor and offers a secure, quiet environment with no children. To help us provide the best possible care, please share any important information about your dog in your request—such as food aggression, resource guarding, leash reactivity, anxiety, tendency to run or escape, slipping out of leads/harnesses, , or any other behavioral or medical needs. Clear communication helps us create a safer, happy experience for all the dogs in our home.

Our puppy had a great time staying with Julie, Øystein and Sam. We got updates throughout her stay, which felt safe and it was nice seeing her having a good time. They were super sweet with her, and you could really tell that she felt safe in their environment and fully satisfied upon departure. Warmly recommend and hopefully she’ll get the chance to hang out with them in the future!

Alltid hyggelig å ha hunden min hos Julie. Hun er så flink med han og han er veldig glad for å se henne hver gang. Jeg får daglige oppdateringer og hun er fleksibel med hente-, og leveringstid

Julie was amazing with Penny, she was clearly so well looked after and so happy when we collected her and I will definitely hope to leave Penny with her again in the future

We couldn’t be happier with Julie’s care for our dog. Our pup required special attention, and Julie handled it with such professionalism, patience, and kindness. She went above and beyond to make sure all his needs were met and kept us updated the whole time. It’s clear she truly loves animals, and our dog felt comfortable and happy with her and her husband. Highly recommend!

Beste hundepasseren jeg kunne drømt om. Masse oppdateringer underveis, omsorgsfull, løsningsorientert og fleksibel. Hunden min fikk tidenes byferie uten tvil. Kommer definitivt til å spørre Julie om å passe hunden min igjen i fremtiden.

Schedule

Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. My husband and I both work full-time with a hybrid schedule, and I’m typically home on Mondays and Fridays. On working days, dogs are part of a structured routine that includes 3–4 walks per day, with around 90 minutes (approx. 5 km) of outdoor time. We prioritize both physical exercise and downtime so dogs stay balanced and relaxed. On in-office days, dogs may be home alone for up to 7–8 hours, so we recommend our care for dogs that are comfortable being left for that period. Outside of those hours, we focus on giving them plenty of attention, activity, and stimulation.

Safety, trust & environment

We provide a safe, structured, and loving home environment where each dog is treated like part of the family. Our home is secure, quiet, and located on the first floor with no children, which helps reduce stress for many dogs. We always supervise interactions, especially during feeding, rest time, and play. Dogs are never left in situations where they may feel uncomfortable or unsafe. We follow each owner’s instructions closely, including routines, feeding, and any specific care needs. Clear communication and transparency are very important to us—we’ll keep you updated so you feel confident your dog is in good hands.

Pets

A typical day

A typical day includes a mix of walks, playtime, rest, and enrichment. We adapt to each dog’s energy level—whether they enjoy longer, active walks or a more relaxed pace. Dogs get regular outdoor time, mental stimulation, and plenty of attention throughout the day. We also make sure they have time to settle and relax, so they don’t become overstimulated. Our goal is for them to feel comfortable, engaged, and at home
