Looking for someone to care for your pets right in their own home? Whether you’re heading into the office, taking the weekend away, or going on that much needed vacation, I offer house sitting for pet parents who want their pets to stay happy and comfortable in familiar surroundings. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, even chickens and turkeys! I recently lost my beautiful 85 lb senior pup to cancer, and I was so grateful to be home with her every day through that journey. I’ve also volunteered with the Oakville Humane Society, fostering all sorts of animals, so trust me, I’ve met every kind of personality from shy snugglers to professional goofballs. When I stay with your pets, they’ll get my full attention: plenty of walks, playtime, belly rubs, and probably a few too many photos. I only book one client at a time, so your furry family member will have me all to themselves for maximum spoiling. You can rest easy knowing they’re safe, loved, and well looked after while you’re away. As I work remotely full-time, your pets enjoy plenty of daytime companionship and supervision. Weekday Pet Sitting Note: I work remotely from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday, and would bring my laptop to work from your home. During the day, your pup will enjoy a consistent routine of regular bathroom breaks, walks, plenty of snuggles, fresh water refills, meals, treats, and maybe even a cameo appearance in a Teams meeting! Please note: depending on my meeting schedule and your requested start time, I may not always be able to accommodate weekday bookings. I truly appreciate your understanding

We stop for potty breaks throughout the day in the backyard. Daily am and pm leashed walks, play time, plenty of belly scratches and they always have access to fresh water and treats.

Julie is an absolute gem. This was the second time she looked after our dog Coco and I honestly don't think we could ask for a better sitter. Coco is a nervous but very affectionate and needy dog, and Julie showered her with so much love and patience that Coco was completely smitten, following her around and gazing at her with pure adoration the whole time. When it was time for Julie to leave, Coco was visibly sad to see her go, which says everything about the bond they built. Julie also went above and beyond in her care for Coco. Coco had recently injured her nail, and Julie was diligent about giving her medicine on schedule and keeping a close eye on her to make sure she did not reinjure it. She was also careful and attentive diring backyard outings, checking for things like skunks and other hazards to keep Coco safe. That level of attentiveness and genuine care is not something you find often. On top of being wonderful with Coco, Julie left our house absolutely spotless. It was somehow in better condition than when we left it, like a small miracle. You would never even guess anyone had been staying there. We trust Julie completely with our dog and our home, without any hesitation. She is warm, thoughtful, and endlessly reliable. We feel incredibly lucky to have found her, will absolutely be booking her again, and will be recommending her to I know.
Julie was wonderful as always watching our cat while we were away for a few days. She’s very responsive and gives the best updates. She takes care of our cat and home with love. Highly recommend Julie!
We can’t say enough about Julie. She is absolutely exceptional. Such a great personality! Our dog Mitzi adored her and we felt the feeling was mutual. She sent us daily messages and a photo. We felt so happy knowing our Mitzi was so well taken care of.
Julie is amazing - she took care of our 2 boxers while we were away in Mexico for a week. She sent daily updates and on the first day our dogs were already snuggling her they loved her so much. Truly couldn’t have imagined a better experience. It really put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy our trip to the fullest knowing our dogs were being so well taken care of. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Julie in the future when we need it!
Julie stayed overnight with our Sheepadoodle. She provided superlative care for both our dog and our home. We received updates and photos and prompt replies to all of our messages. We would love to have Julie stay with our dog again!
Julie was amazing and super responsive. We were out of town celebrating our wedding and our old man is a little anxious when he’s away from mom and dad. Julie was so patient with him and getting him up and down her stairs (he doesn’t love stairs in his old age) and always made sure we knew he was safe and happy. 10/10 would recommend and would use Julie again the next time we’re in Hamilton!

Schedule
I work remotely during the week so I’m up pretty early in case your pet is an early riser. After the workday wraps up, we’ll enjoy an evening walk, plenty of playtime, and all the cuddle sessions they could ask for. On weekends, I love starting the morning with a nice walk but if your pet’s more of a “sleep in and snuggle” type, I’m easily convinced to hit snooze too.

Please note that I am unable to accept dogs with severe reactivity.
