One of us is home most of the time, which means your pet receives plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. Because we work from home, pets become part of our daily routine and are rarely left alone. We understand how important consistency and reliability are when caring for your pets. In the rare event that we are away for more than a couple of hours or an unexpected emergency comes up, we have two trusted backup sitters we have worked closely with for over two years. They are familiar with our routines, expectations, and level of care, helping ensure your pet remains attended to, comfortable, and cared for at all times. We offer open boarding, meaning dogs are free to relax and enjoy a home environment rather than spending their stay in a kennel. If your dog is crate trained or prefers their own space, you are welcome to bring a crate for their stay. We do our best to follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, medications, naps, and bedtime preferences. Every pet is different, and we adjust our care to fit their personality, comfort level, and needs. We are happy to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible. Same-day or late evening bookings may include an additional fee due to the preparation required to welcome new pets into our home. In addition to the Rover Holidays, additional holiday pricing may apply during peak travel times. Holidays include: Valentine’s Day St. Patrick’s Day Easter Cinco de Mayo Mother’s Day Father’s Day Spring Break Fall Break Halloween

Safety, trust & environment

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always our top priority. We understand how important trust is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care, and we work hard to create an environment where both pets and owners feel completely at ease. Our home includes a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy supervised outdoor time. Dogs are never left outside unattended, and we carefully monitor interactions to make sure everyone stays comfortable and safe. We share our home with a friendly boxer, a well-loved family cat, and a playful Maine Coon kitten. Because every pet has different comfort levels, we take introductions slowly and have safe ways to separate spaces when needed. This allows us to accommodate pets who are social as well as those who prefer quieter environments. We believe pets thrive when they feel relaxed, understood, and included. Whether your pet enjoys playtime, cuddles, or their own private space, we adjust our environment to fit their needs and personality. For added peace of mind, Furry Cuddles and Care LLC is privately insured through Pet Care Insurance.

Information Julie K. would like to know about your pet

The more we know about your pet ahead of time, the better we can prepare to make their stay comfortable, safe, and stress-free. Please let us know about any behavior concerns, anxiety, nervousness, fears, or routines that may help your pet adjust to a new environment. We understand that every pet is different, and we take the time needed to help them feel comfortable with our home, our family, and the other pets staying with us. Because we typically host multiple dogs at a time, it’s especially helpful to know how your pet does around other dogs, cats, children, or new environments. If your pet prefers more space, has limited socialization experience, or needs slower introductions, that’s completely okay—we simply want to plan ahead and create the best experience possible. It’s also helpful to know about feeding habits, potty routines, sleep preferences, medications, triggers, or anything else that helps your pet feel comfortable and secure. The more details you share, the better we can personalize their care. We have experience working with anxious, shy, and unsocialized pets and are happy to accommodate a wide range of personalities. Open communication helps us provide the safest, most personalized care for your furry family member.

A typical day

Every day is a little different depending on the pets staying with us, but our goal is always the same—to create a comfortable, fun, and relaxed experience that feels like home. Dogs enjoy supervised outdoor time in our fenced backyard, playtime with toys, and plenty of interaction throughout the day. They’re welcome to relax around the house, spend time with our family, or have their own quiet space if they prefer a calmer environment. Because we offer open boarding, pets are part of our home and daily routine rather than spending their stay in a kennel. If your dog is crate trained or feels more comfortable having their own space, you’re welcome to bring a crate for their stay. We provide neighborhood walks, enrichment, cuddles, and downtime based on each pet’s energy level and personality. Cats are given time to settle in at their own pace and can enjoy cozy resting spots, elevated spaces, and private areas away from the dogs if they prefer a quieter experience. At night, pets can relax wherever they feel most comfortable—whether that’s snuggled up in one of our beds, curled up on a blanket, or resting in their own crate if that’s part of their routine. We take each day as it comes, adjusting based on weather, schedules, and what helps each pet feel happiest and most at home.

Pet care experience

🐾 Meet Julie & Our Family Hi, I’m Julie, founder of Furry Cuddles and Care LLC! Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve built my business around creating a safe, loving, home-based environment where pets are treated like family. This is truly a family venture. My teens are actively involved and love helping care for our furry guests, giving them extra attention, playtime, and companionship throughout their stay. We understand that pets are not “just pets” because they are your best friends and part of your family. With hundreds of happy clients and years of experience, we focus on making every stay feel comfortable, structured, and stress-free. Whether your pet is staying for boarding, daycare, drop-ins, or house sitting, our goal is to provide a home away from home, not a kennel experience. We are not a kennel or high-volume boarding facility. We intentionally create a home environment where pets receive personalized care, attention, and supervision. I work from home, which means pets receive plenty of supervision, flexibility, and attention throughout the day. We have a fenced yard, a playful boxer who loves company, and a home designed to make pets feel comfortable and included. We have experience with: Puppies and potty training Senior pets Medication administration Anxiety and nervous behaviors Dogs still learning socialization Cats who prefer a quieter, cozy environment At Furry Cuddles and Care LLC, we take trust seriously. We provide regular updates, photos, and communication throughout your pet’s stay so you can feel connected and confident while you’re away. We’re fully insured and committed to creating a safe, loving experience for every pet in our care. Because to us, this isn’t just pet care. It’s caring for a member of your family. 🐾 Why Families Choose Furry Cuddles and Care Family-run, in-home pet care Work-from-home supervision Fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time Open boarding environment instead of a kennel setting Experience with anxious, shy, and senior pets Medication administration experience Comfortable environment for both dogs and cats Fully insured through Pet Care Insurance 🐾 What to Bring To help your pet feel comfortable and settled, you’re welcome to send: Food and treats Favorite blanket or bed Toys (if you don’t mind sharing or possible wear) Crate, if preferred Medications or supplements We provide bowls, and each guest has their own designated space for belongings to help them feel comfortable and at home. 🐾 Before Your Stay Before drop-off, we ask all pet parents to complete our required forms and review helpful tips to help make the stay smooth and comfortable for everyone. This helps us learn about your pet’s routine, personality, preferences, and any special needs ahead of time so we can provide the best care possible. 🐾 Our Home May Be a Great Fit For Pets Who: Enjoy a home environment Like companionship and interaction Are comfortable around other pets Benefit from supervision throughout the day Prefer a flexible, personalized routine Enjoy playtime, cuddles, or a mix of both Need patience, slower introductions, or extra reassurance We believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re away from home.

Julie is a pet sitter to treasure! My skittish dog had never been boarded anywhere and presented some challenging behavior issues. Julie does not back down from a challenge or fail a commitment. She dealt with it all, giving him a sense of security and keeping him safe, and me informed daily. I cannot thank her enough, nor find the words to express how strongly I recommend her as a pet sitter,

Julie watched our baby boy for a first boarding experience and a 10 day one at that. She was great about sending us updates and pictures every day. She also graciously accommodated our change of drop of plans due to flight hiccups. It was everything I could have asked for and will absolutely seek her out again. Thank you Julie!

Julie was amazing! She watched Dallas super last minute while I was in town for a wedding, and I’m so grateful. She was kind, reliable, and made me feel comfortable leaving him with her even on short notice. Dallas was well taken care of, and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone needing a sweet and trustworthy sitter!

Julie is great, she takes good care of Pumba and works with me when work gives me short notice or extends my trip!
