In a clients home I respect the pets established schedule and the owners preferences, including feeding routines, medications, exercise, playtime and household guidelines. I pay close attention to behavior and well-being and provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are happy and cared for.

A typical day starts with making sure your pet is happy and healthy and comfortable. I’ll refresh food and water and clean litter boxes or pet areas and spend quality time with your pet based on their personality or preference. For cats that could mean playing with interactive toys and or brushing and grooming if they enjoy it, or sitting quietly and being their friend. For dogs, walks or playtime, outdoor exercise, fetch and plenty of behind the ear scratches.

Five years and running in Summit County. My love of animals is noticeable and after having spent many a day and weekend taking care of my friends and neighbors furbabies (including running with their dogs), I've decided to make dog/cat sitting a more permanent side hobby. As a pet owner myself (both cats and dogs), I understand how important a cat/dog sitter is to the wellbeing of both the owner and their pet(s). Therefore, I'll do all that I can to make sure I provide a fun, safe and positive experience for everyone. I am a consultant so my hours are somewhat flexible during the week and weekends. Julie has taken care of my German Shepherd on multiple occasions. She is very comfortable with him, extremely friendly, and Jack loves spending time with her. I absolutely recommend Julie as a caretaker for your dog, cat, or other pet!
We've had Julie watch our two furbabies, Charlie and Presley, multiples times and she's been a FANTASTIC sitter to them both! Charlie is a spunky Boston Terrier with a ton of energy, and Presley is an 11-year-old grumpy (but dressed for success) tuxedo cat. Whenever our pets see Julie, they get so excited to see her, which is something we hadn't seen with previous pet sitters. Julie is prompt, sends us updates on how they're doing, and really cares for our furry family members. Highly recommend!
Julie is a born pet lover (and they love her back). Julie took great care of my dog, Jasmine, from the time she was a puppy. I trusted her completely with Jasmine because I knew she would be responsible. Julie is a wonderful communicator, and always kept me up to date when she was watching Jasmine. Even though I missed my dog, I knew she was safe and happy with Julie. I think Jasmine likes her more than me! I strongly recommend Julie to Rover patrons - you won’t be disappointed!
Julie is a great cat sitter! She has looked after my shy fur babies several times and my cats love her. She sends great photos and reports on how your cats are doing.
