During the school year, I can provide morning and evening walks, and quick drop-ins at lunch time. The goal is to make the routine as similar to the owner as possible so the pet is comfortable.

I have no breed preferences. All doggies are lovable; never met one I didn’t like! I'd just need to know everything necessary for providing an optimum environment for the dog.
A typical day
I'd like to make the pet feel as comfortable as possible, which means following the regular routine of the owner. If the owner would like me to do anything special outside of that, I am happy to accommodate (i.e. trips to park, extra walks, etc). If the dog is high energy, I'd love to take him/her on runs around the neighborhood. Dogs make the best running buddies!

I eventually made it into a hobby! As a pet sitter, I've worked with multiple types of breeds, ages, & personalities. Any pet of yours is a friend of mine! For walks, I can give your dog whatever level of exercise you prefer. For house-sitting, I believe in leaving your residence the same or cleaner than you left it & making sure your mind is at ease while you're away. No pet-care situation is too complicated for me to handle; my top priority is making sure your furry loved ones are happy. My work schedule varies from day to day, but I always know what it’ll be up to two weeks ahead of time, so we’ll be able to work out if I’m a right fit for what you need without trouble. I always make sure to go over all details with the owner before starting any services, so they can rest assured their pet(s) and home will feel as if things are running smoothly as usual.

We truly lucked out with Julie when we asked her to start dog sitting for us about 4 years ago now. She is reliable, knowledgeable about pets and their needs, and truly cares for the animals and people she works with. Our dog Kona absolutely adores Julie and gets so excited whenever she comes to visit. We have tried boarding in facilities a couple times, but she just gets so anxious to be away from her space, so we are very thankful that Julie is able to come to us and give Kona the 1:1 attention and care she needs.

We hired Julie to house sit our two dogs for a week while we got married in Florida. She and her husband were wonderful, they took our dogs on long walks every day, sent photos and gave daily updates. It was such a relief to not worry about how the dogs were doing. One was a puppy and it was great for our puppy to be able to stay at home and not a scary boarding place, she had some separation anxiety! Julie was awesome and I will definitely use her again if we need a dog sitter, she is very compassionate and loves dogs and animals. Highly recommend!!
