With 25 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, I bring a lifetime of animal care knowledge to every walk, visit, and stay. I've been a devoted dog owner for over two decades, giving me a deep understanding of canine behavior, body language, and the little things that make dogs feel safe and comfortable in new environments. My experience goes beyond my own pets. I spent a year as an office manager at a veterinarian practice, where I worked closely with veterinary staff, observed a wide range of health and behavioral issues, and learned to recognize signs of illness, discomfort, or distress in animals, knowledge I carry into every pet I care for. I am also a volunteer at the Erie Humane Society, working directly with dogs of all ages, temperaments, and backgrounds, including animals who needed extra patience, socialization, or a calm, confident handler. Rounding out my experience, I currently work part-time at a doggy daycare, managing groups of dogs throughout the day, monitoring play styles, catching early signs of stress or conflict, and keeping everyone safe and happy. Whether it's a quick walk around the block, a longer outing, or overnight house sitting, I treat every dog in my care like my own, with patience, attentiveness, and genuine love for the job. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, energy levels, and personalities, and I understand that every pet has their own routine and needs.
