I work from home with a flexible schedule, so I’m around for most of the day to provide plenty of company, care, and regular toilet breaks. This also means I can adapt to your dog’s usual routine, whether they enjoy long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company. Your dog will rarely be left alone and will receive lots of attention throughout their stay.

I’m a lifelong animal lover living in Higherford with my 14 year-old son, Billy. We both love spending time with dogs and treat every pet that stays with us as part of the family. We previously owned a lovely Whippet, so we understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dog. We currently dog sit for friends and have loved every minute of it, so we’ve decided to open our home to more furry guests through Rover. Our home has a secure garden and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, making it the perfect place for plenty of walks, fresh air, and adventures. I enjoy fell walking and keeping fit, so your dog will get lots of exercise, attention, and affection. We also have our friendly tripod cat, Seth, who is used to dogs and can be kept completely separate from visiting pets if needed. I know every dog is different, so I’ll always do my best to stick to their usual routine and make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your four-legged family member! 🐶

Julie has looked after my gorgeous cockapoo Blondie three times in the last year. It is obvious Julie loves animals and I felt completely relaxed about leaving my precious pooch in her care. Blondie is energetic and needs lots of walking, Julie kept me updated with her exercise regime. I would happily recommend Julie to anyone who wants to leave their dog in a safe, happy, clean environment ☺️
Julie has looked after my lovely dog Nelly several times the most recent being June this year. She is the perfect pet sitter. Nelly had lots of walks and cuddles and Julie sent me regular updates for the entire time I had to be away. Living near the countryside makes Julie's house the perfect location for dog walking. Nelly gets so excited every time she sees Julie it is clear she loves spending time with her. I can 100% recommend this lovely lady for leaving your pooch in her care.
