Orzo seemed to love his stay with Julie and Poppy! Julie’s vet tech background made her very knowledgeable about Orzo’s medication and made us feel like Orzo was in the right hands. Highly recommend!

I first became acquainted with Julie professionally in 2015 at the vet clinic to which I was recommended. My friends whom had referred the office had already been going for years. And when I mentioned their names, Julie described them and their pets (large and small) as close of friends to her as they were to me. Much like many families+their pets over the years, Julie knew each one of them by name, their needs, personalities and habits (yes, both owners and animals!). Julie worked by the Vet's side in surgery as a nurse, and understood his procedures. Families could ask questions and she had the experience to know or resources to help immediately. She was entrusted for many years, and often was the only one available or looked after the pets when boarded. Because of her advanced skills, Julie can provide special needs' pets their medications and allow them to stay in the comfort of their own home. I have owned 4 elderly dogs myself and love the fact that they can stay home if I travel. I trust Julie with my "babies" and belongings wholeheartedly.

Where your pet will stay

Home characteristics

Lives in a house
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Safety, trust & environment

I have a large fenced in back yard for dogs to run and play in. They would also be indoors with me with 24 hour supervision. If you have a large dog that would stay at your home I am available to commute to your house during the day and night if needed to walk, feed and play with them.

Pets

A typical day

Our daily activities would depend on the amount of dogs I would have with me at one time. More importantly it is important for me to know their activities at your house. Knowing that would help me accommodate to your specific pets likes and dislikes. Some can’t walk far and some can. In those situations I would just walk them separately to avoid any unneeded stress in your pet. I want them to be comfortable.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Spayed and neutered dogs only
No females in heat
Julie can host up to 3 pets per night
In order for me to give your pet what he/she needs please let me know about any silly habits they may have. It’s also important for me to know how they interact with other dogs and humans so we can avoid any problems. Some dogs have certain triggers that you may think aren’t important, but in a different environment it could be very important.
