Pet care experience
We are retired and enriching our lives with the joy only animals can bring! I've had my share of animals to look after. We lived overseas for decades and often rescued and fostered cats and dogs of all sizes, finding them loving homes. We've also had a few pets ourselves and took care of friends' pets during their travels. I have experience with dogs of all ages, including older and special needs dogs.

Julie was simply the best! She pampered Boscoe, he was kept active & he was secure. Julie gave us multiple updates which made us feel very comfortable so we could enjoy our get away. It was the first time boarding Boscoe with Julie & we highly recommend her. We would have no hesitation calling on her again.
Julie was terrific! So kind. Comet seemed very happy.
Julie and her husband are our go to sitter for Gracie and each and every time, they have provided excellent care. I have reviewed before, but felt I needed to again because of the extra effort and care that Gracie gets. Gracie is a VERY finicky eater. Even thought we sent plenty of food, Julie went out of her way to try and find a different kind of food that Gracie would take to better. I know she always gets lots of attention and exercise when she is with Julie. I hate leaving her behind when we travel, but I know she's in excellent hands with Julie and Hans.

I live with my husband in a home with a fenced-in yard. Pups can join me on my daily walks around the neighborhood. If you have a high energy pup, we have a few beautiful dog parks close by! If your dog is older or not as active, we will gladly spend time on the couch together.

I am open to taking pets from different households at the same time if they get along. I think it provides them company and important opportunities to socialize and be active. Please share whether your dog has any history of aggression, toy or food guarding, etc. so I can make the appropriate and safe choice for all. NOTE: If you request no other dogs during your pet's stay, there is an additional $20 fee per night as this limits my booking options.
A typical day
My husband and I have fun with dogs at home, playing games, hosing them off in our yard, playing tug of war and fetch, and going to the dog park daily.
