Pet care experience

Very experienced dog owner, Your dog will be looked after with love and care. Taken for long walks in parks, fields, woods. Lots of attention, games and cuddles. A loving warm, cosy home to rest when tired. I have had dogs since I was small, different breeds from German Sheppards, Labradors, beegle, shihTzu, poodle cross, all my family have dogs. I Look after many of my friends and families dogs. We have been lucky to have all our dogs till an old age, they are treated as part of the family, like an extra child. Before the dog I have now I had two female German Sheppards, jes and jaz, so soppy and gentle they grew up being socialised with all ages. They were 8 years old when my daughter was born and they were as good as gold, but also as my little girl was a toddler I taught her how to treat them. It is very important children don't think dogs can be pulled about, climbed on or teased. They never went into kennels, always stayed with family as i never wanted them to feel I was leaving them. When they stayed with family it was like they were having a little holiday too. My little dog Benjie (male shih tzu cross poodle) is so friendly, gets on with male and female dogs. I also have children, a 15 year old 6year old and a 3 year old. We live in a house, with a big garden, very close to a park and the chase. We meet many people with theirs dogs at the park and have a friendly group with lots of different breeds that all get on. We are surrounded by all the forest that I explore daily and we go on lots of different walks, nothing better than seeing a dog run around enjoying themselves. Your dog would have a lovely stay and be treated as part of our family.

Julie and her family provided a lovely and welcoming home from home experience for our mini dachshund. It was a massive relief knowing we were leaving her in safe hands with experienced dog owners. We received regular updates and photos of how she was getting on whilst we were away. We specifically chose Julie as she has a small dog of her own and it was clear from the meet and greet that our dogs would enjoy being together. We would throughly recommend Julie and will definitely book again with her in the future.

Thank you so much Julie for the wonderful care that you have taken of our beloved dogs. Your daily updates and photos were fantastic. This has been the first time we’ve ever needed someone to care for the boys and we could not have found anyone that could have looked after them as well as you did. Thank you, thank you and thank you again 😁

I left Dylan with Julie for three nights whilst we went to the Edinburgh festival. I must admit I was really anxious as he is 12 years old now, now quite deaf and on heart medication and I’ve only ever left him once before when he was much younger. That time he went to a boarding kennels and I have to say he came back quite traumatised but with Julie I really shouldn’t have worried. She was absolutely brilliant with him - very calm and relaxed and Dylan came home very chilled and happy. She obviously loves her dogs, has loads of experience handling all types and I wouldn’t have any hesitation in contacting her again if I ever needed to leave him. I would thoroughly recommend Julie to anyone.
