Dog loving, homeschooling family!
I grew up with a dog and have always been a pet lover. Although our family currently doesn't have a dog of our own, we love being around the pets of our friends and family. We have also been a foster family for several dogs in the past three years. These dogs come with all sorts of physical and emotional issues and we have been blessed to help them find their forever homes. We are a homeschooling family who is home much of the day, usually only leaving for a few hours at a time for classes and events. Our children, ages 10, 14 and 19, will give your dog lots of loving attention and play time. But they are also aware when a dog needs their space. We use Tractive GPS Trackers to keep an extra "eye" on your pup that alerts us if they leave our back yard virtual and real fence. Tractive also gives us real time tracking and location giving you, and us, 100% peace of mind that even an escape artist won't wander too far. We have a large, fully fenced backyard to play and a great neighborhood for walks. We will consider puppies that aren't housebroken for an additional $10/day

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Julia, Joel, and their family! As new puppy parents, we were a little nervous about leaving our 5-month-old pup for the first time, but they completely eased our anxiety. We received regular updates and adorable pictures through the Rover app, and even got to track her walks—which was such a comfort. Their large backyard is a huge bonus—perfect for a high-energy puppy to run and play safely. Most importantly, they treated her like part of their family, which is exactly what we hoped for. It’s clear how much love and care they put into what they do. We’re so grateful to have found them and will absolutely be booking again!
Julie and her family does an exceptional job of taking care of our dog Loki while we’re away. They give us daily updates on how he is doing and send photos as well. They do a great job of communicating during the stay which makes it less stressful for us while we’re gone. I would highly recommend booking with them if you need a sitter!
I’m so glad that I chose Julie and her family for my dog Joe. They are true professionals with excellent communication, great passion and a nice house for dogs. She even allowed me to change the reservation as she was available during the new dates. Julie was able to send daily updates with Joe and took excellent care of Joe. I’ll definitely be rebooking with Julie 😀
Julie and family took great care of my dog and sent the occasional photo of while I was out of town. Much appreciated and great care.
First time I’ve ever used a service like this and she was so understanding and easy to talk to. She had very quick responses from the start. And even when she had my dog Nova in her care she sent picture updates periodically which was so sweet because my mama heart was anxious. I will definitely use her in the future.

Schedule
Since we are a homeschool family we are home a lot and able to provide frequent trips outside to play in the backyard and go for walks around the neighborhood.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced in back yard. We also have dog trackers that your pet will wear during their stay with us. We'll be alerted if they leave the backyard and we will get real time tracking and location. On the rare occassion that nobody is home, your dog will be crated- this ensures that they can't get into mischeif and inadvertently hurt themselves while we are away and they are unsupervised.
A typical day
Dogs will have daily walks around the neighborhood and plenty of playtime in the backyard. If your dog like to play with other dogs, we have plenty of neighbor dogs who are always up for a playdate.

- We need to know if your dog is housebroken and is ok with children. To ensure the safety of your pet and of our home we must be able to crate your pet when we cannot supervise them (i.e. overnight or the rare time we are all away from home). Even dogs who are great at home often have accidents in a new situation. As there is a possibility that we will have a foster dog during your dog's stay, we need to know if your dog gets along well with other dogs. We would love to meet your dog before they stay, to make sure they are a good fit for our family. We are happy to provide a crate if you don't have one.
