SPCA Foster Parent for petsitting
I would love to take care of your dog or cat! I am a foster parent with the Peninsula Humane Society/SPCA who was recently laid off from a tech job, so I now have time to spend loving and caring for animals. I love animals! I grew up with a dog (a Golden Retriever) and two cats, and I am now a foster parent for the Peninsula Humane Society, so your pet(s) would be in good, experienced hands. Through my foster work (and caring for my own animals over the years), I have developed lots of experience giving a variety of medications and treatments to animals with many different needs, should that be necessary. In fact, my previous cat required daily insulin shots and heart medication, so I am comfortable and used to giving injections and pills. Looking forward to hearing from you and giving your baby all the cuddles and play he or she wants!

I have a fenced yard that a dog could run around in. I have a 3 year old cat who is very friendly and adaptable, but I can keep him separate if your animal is not a fan.

I have used this service for many years at this point, and Julie is simply the best. She truly care about the animals and is also very knowledgeable. On the second day she quickly noticed from one of the cats’ behavior that he was sick and took him to the hospital, where the doctor found a partial urethral obstruction, which could have had dire consequences if diagnosed late. I cannot imagine what would have happened if we didn’t luckily have her. We feel truly indebted to her!
Julie is very experienced with caring for animals and genuinely care about the wellbeing of the animals. She bounded with them very quickly and all my 3 cats were quite upbeat after the visit. Highly recommend her!
Julie took great care of our two dogs, cats and house while we enjoyed a vacation. We got updates and pictures on a regular basis. It made for a much more relaxing getaway. Will absolutely reach out again for future trips.

Julie was a GREAT sitter for Cheeto, our 2.5 year old, very energetic corgi. She was super responsive before and during our trip, and asked a lot of good questions in preparation for hanging out with Cheeto. She sent me daily videos and photos of Cheeto while we were away, and he looked like he was having a great time going on walks, running around in the green area around her home, and playing with her neighbor's dog. I would absolutely recommend her, and would be happy to have Cheeto stay with her again. Thank you, Julie!
I left my black lab with Julie for 2 days. He was well cared for. Julie took him out both days for walks and spent time throwing the ball for him. We received photos from Julie of our happy dog both days. It was important for me that she had a fenced yard and no other dogs in the house. Thank you Julie!
