After retiring as an Assistant Superintendent, I found myself looking for the perfect way to stay active, connected, and fulfilled—and caring for dogs turned out to be exactly that. I’m a lifelong animal lover with a soft spot for four-legged companions of all sizes and personalities. I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals and currently wear many proud titles: dog mom to a 90-pound lovable Labrador, doggy grandma to a black Lab, a Dachshund mix, four beagles, and even a black cat. Caring for animals has always been second nature to me, and I’ve gained years of hands-on experience through family and close friends. I genuinely enjoy walking dogs, spending quality time with them, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I’m comfortable providing necessary medications once proper instructions are given, and I always prioritize each pet’s routine and well-being. For safety and personal reasons, I do not care for animals in households that also have snakes or other reptiles.
