I am currently unemployed (by choice) and will be working several different part-time jobs over the course of the next 8 months until I go to my yoga teacher training in August in Costa Rica. This allows me plenty of flexibility to work Rover care into schedule. Most of my clients are recurring clients but I am still open to meeting with potential new clients to see if it is the right fit for both of us.

I will treat your home and your pets as if they are my own. I am meticulously clean and conscientious. I will feed your animals, scoop kitty litters, walk dogs, administer oral medications, provide treats, and play! If I am caring for your home in addition, I can take on various tasks such as retrieving the mail and watering plants.

If I am doing an overnight sit or a drop in for you I always require a meet and greet beforehand. This way I get some face time with your pet and we can understand each other's behaviors and I can hear from you first hand what your animal's needs are.

A typical day will look completely different depending on the needs of your specific animal. I find some dogs could go for two to three walks a day and so we do lots of walking. Some dogs are content throwing a ball in the backyard for hours on end so we will do that. And some dogs just like to hang out on the couch with me so we will read lots of books and do lots of snuggles. Whatever the day looks like, you will be receiving many many pictures of your sweet animals from me.

My friends refer to me as "Ace Ventura" because I tend to have a special kinship with animals. I think I prefer them to humans sometimes. My family has always had a wide array of pets from dogs to cats to rabbits to hedgehogs so I have had experience with caring for many animals. I currently own two cats and a dog of my own with my husband.

To say Julie was absolutely fantastic would be an understatement! We have one pup who is afraid of other folks and prior to the visit, Julie took the time to come by for a meet-and-greet not only hang out with the pups, but to get a feel for things with us and our home. While we were gone, she provided us peace of mind knowing everything was well taken care of. She was attentive, communicative, thoughtful, and our pups enjoyed her company to say the least. We would 100% have her back if/when the need arises!!!

First time using Julia. She was so sweet and attentive! She even brought our dog a Christmas present so he could celebrate while we were gone.
