Hi there! I'm Julie. I recently moved back into the Ashburn area after living in Germany for a few years. As a child, my parents always joked that one day when I was grown, I would have Noah's ark at my home. I grew up in the midwest with two dogs, a rabbit, and multiple fish. I quickly became the neighborhood "pet sitter" and loved any furry creature I found. I'm blessed to be able to work from home and my schedule usually allows me to be flexible most days for dog walks and drop-in care. I only take one family's pet(s) at a time so I can focus on the individual needs of your pet. I currently have one fur baby of my own. Ace is a six year old Labrador Retriever who brings so much joy and excitement to my family. I am used to having a high energy dogs, so I am fine with puppies and dogs of all sizes. I only board dogs since Ace is not a big fan of living with cats! :) I am big on communication, so please let me know if there are concerns or preferences you may have when it comes to your pet. I try to treat every dog like my own. I have a fenced back yard that allows for playtime, and depending on their walking schedule and the age of your pet, I allow plenty of time for exercise, feedings, and downtime.

Julie was our first sitter on Rover and we had the most wonderful experience! Before our scheduled overnight stay, I asked if our dogs could meet. She agreed and we all hit it off! The night of our dogs boarding with her she sent us pictures and videos to show our pup and how he was doing. It was reassuring to know that he was happy, safe and loved. I’m so grateful to Julie and her family for taking such wonderful care of our dog and we absolutely intend on using her again for overnight care. You won’t go wrong booking with Julie! She’s kind, communicative and you can tell she really loves animals!
Julie did a great time taking care of my pup while we were out of town for the weekend. Iris had a ton of fun with her dog and she sent pics and vids throughout the trip. Highly recommend and will definitely use again.
Julie is a rare jewel. She is responsible, trustworthy, and a real animal lover. She has a completely spoiled and pampered Lab. She is lots of fun so your dog will find a true friend with Julie. My highest recommendation!
