Doggy holidays in a comfy home from home
As a retired couple with time on our hands we'd like to open our home to your precious fur babies. After losing our precious Lab, Harvey, a couple of years ago we decided to adopt a 12 year old Patterdale named Ruby last May. Giving a loving home to a senior dog has been a joy. Ruby unfortunately passed November 2025 but we have wonderful memories and take comfort in the fact we gave her a safe, loving home in her later years. We live by the coast and also by a Loch which both have lovely walks. Our home is in a quiet area and we have a good sized garden which is south facing and a lovely place for a lazy doggy snooze.

Dolly was so excited to be going back to Julie and Steve, and I could see immediately how much she is loved there. It was wonderful to get so much feedback during her stay, and lots of happy photographs. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Julie and Steve again, they are my number one sitters.
Julie and Steve are lovely people who looked after our girl like their own. We will definitely use their services again.

This was Mila’s 2nd stay with Julie & Steve. She was well taken care of, lovely walks and lots of cuddles and fuss to help her feel settled. Mila will be staying again in August ❤️❤️❤️
I was so nervous about leaving my little dog with a new sitter, but I needn’t have worried. Julie and Steve were outstanding, providing a really loving and caring home. They engaged with her from the get-go, and she settled in very quickly. The icing on the cake was their grandson, who fell in love with Dolly so much that he came to stay, just to spend time with her. I have already requested a second booking.
Everything was great, from the meet and great to get to know Willow, to the communication about Willow's relaxing holiday! Thanks again :-)

Programa
As my husband and I are retired we both have plenty of time to care for a visiting dog. Our dog Ruby, who recently passed, was walked 2 or 3 times a day and went most places with us.

We have a secure garden which is always available for playing, mooching or snoozing. Our routine would follow the owners routine as closely as possible.
Un día normal
We like to walk around our local Loch and take some time to play at the beach. We have 2 large parks nearby which have lots to exolore. We also spend a lot of time playing in the garden.
