Hi! I'm Julie! While new to the pet/housesitting world, I have taken care of dogs, cats and horses since childhood. I've also been a human caregiver. I'm a retired RN of 35+ years who also worked in veterinary medicine as a vet assistant for 5 years. My love of animals has persuaded me to pursue a career of providing care to your furry family members. My preferred fur clientele would be mature adult/senior small dogs or cats (kittens or adults) who prefer to stay in their own familiar surroundings. As the mom of a special needs dog (epilepsy) I'm well versed in giving medications and providing seizure care. With owner direction and observation of administration, I would feel comfortable administering injections. Whether your pet is into sedate leash walks, snuggles, belly rubs or prefers self entertainment with toys or observing the outside world, I'm happy to oblige. My schedule is generally very flexible and my goal is to take care of your fur babies and your home as if they were my own.
