Pet care is my passion
I have taken care of pets my whole life, both my own and for other people. And I truly love every part of pet care, from feeding and brushing, to walking and snuggling, or even giving medications to optimize their health and comfort. It doesn’t matter what kind of animal, how big or small, or what their needs are. Being able to give intentional, affectionate care to any animal is a joy to my heart. I have fostered many different types of animals, and worked at an animal shelter for a several years. They are an integral part of my life, and I can’t imagine it any other way. Currently, my pet family includes an 8 lb Chihuahua and a black cat. I can care for your pet in your home and/or come by to take them for a walk. Every detail is important to me, as my highest priority is to keep your animals safe, healthy, and feeling secure.

Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or concerns. I have a lot of experience with animals, so just let me know what you and your pet(s) need. I am happy to document all activities, food eaten or not eaten, trips outside, and anything else you would like. And if you’d like, I can even send you photos during my visits so you know your furry friend is doing well. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!

We have hired Julie a couple times to housesit and care for our two dogs. Our dogs are well cared for and are very comfortable with Julie. Our house looks just like we left it when we come home. All pet owners know how wonderful it is to be able to leave their pets with someone and have no worries while they are gone. I highly recommend Julie!
Julie is exactly what you need in a rover — trustworthy, communicative, and friendly. She has stayed at our house several times and our lab loves her, and she always leave our place exactly how she found it (if not better - this time she changed out a light bulb for us!) We are so thankful that we found her!

I am working part-time right now so my schedule is flexible. I love the variety of walking dogs, and stopping in as needed to let them outside, feed them, and just give them some love and attention!
