I've spent the past two years providing loving, reliable care to pets on Rover, and bring over 10 years of experience caring for the animals of friends and family before that. Whether I'm caring for dogs, cats, or other furry friends, I always strive to create a calm, comforting environment—especially when they're missing their people. I treat every pet like my own, and my goal is always to help them feel safe, happy, and at home while you're away. I also have experience working with reactive dogs, and understand the importance of patience, structure, and reading their body language. I'm confident creating a safe space where even more sensitive pups can feel understood and cared for. Based in Santa Monica.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize spending as much quality time with them as possible—offering playtime, cuddles, and companionship to help ease the stress of being away from their people. I know every pet has their own routine and personality, so I always do my best to make them feel safe, loved, and at ease. I'm also great at keeping pet parents updated, and I'm happy to send photos and messages as often as you'd like for peace of mind.

Julie was great with our two boys! Both are reactive and there were no issues with her managing them. She was great with communication and updates throughout our trip and it was such a positive experience! We can't wait to see her again!
We had a great experience with Julie while she watched Scout for 3 nights. She was very responsive and attentive. We appreciated the morning updates with pictures! Scout was in great hands and we would definitely book with her again!
Julie was wonderful! She watched my pets (dog and cat) for the weekend and was very communicative, caring and accommodating. She provided consistent updates that made me feel comfortable and secure that both pets were well taken care of. She also left a great recap on the pets so I knew how they did! I would definitely recommend Julie and would hire her again myself!

Schedule
My schedule is flexible and doesn’t follow a typical 9–5, which means I’m often available during off-hours and weekdays when others may not be. This allows me to provide attentive, reliable care—even at times that are harder to book. I love being able to fit pet care into my routine and be there for pets (and their people!) when they need it most.
