Julie is an absolutely fantastic dog sitter and all around person. She communicated wonderfully all throughout and when my dog was having some extra anxiety she problem solved. I have no doubt Julie's calm demeanor helped to calm my dog and make her feel at ease. I cannot wait for our pup to stay with her again. Julie is a true professional!

SJ took care of our Pomeranian for a day to help him get accustomed to boarding, and the experience was excellent. She is very perceptive and attentive to each dog’s personality, which made a big difference for our pup, who is quite anxious. Throughout the day, she sent frequent updates that gave us peace of mind. She went above and beyond to make him comfortable—taking him on a relaxed walk, letting him settle in at his own pace, and giving him the freedom to do what he was comfortable with. Overall, I’m very happy with SJ’s care of our pup.

SJ exceeded all expectations! Her communication was stellar and the amount of care was extraordinary for our senior pup that requires a bit of extra TLC. She provided regular photo and video updates, administered medication and even left our house spotless before leaving. SJ is a true gem and we are so grateful we found her.
This is Ava’s third stay with SJ. The first two visits went super smoothly, but for factors outside everyone’s control, Ava developed frequent diarrhea and vomiting, such that Ava needed to be hospitalized. We were traveling internationally and couldn’t make it home on time to take Ava to emergency care. SJ stepped up and took Ava to two hospitals to provide her with the best care possible. Both vets who treated Ava commended SJ for being an excellent pet sitter. SJ gave Ava all the needed medications and even took Ava for a follow up visit the next day. We can’t express our appreciation enough for how grateful we are that SJ recognized Ava needed emergency care and took all the actions to get her treated promptly. SJ’s actions saved our precious Ava’s life! SJ truly is Super Julie!

My friends call me SJ (short for Super Julie); please call me that. Let me love and care for your furball(s). I'm available immediately for boarding or house-sitting and caring for your family. I work remotely, so I walk a few times a day and I love a companion - either your adorable dog or cat (if they like walks) with me. I love to play and then, later, give and get snuggles. I love all animals and can care for older, blind, deaf, and special needs dogs and cats. I care for your loved one(s) like they are my own. I have cared for: dogs, cats, chickens, birds, fish, frogs, turtles, goats, bunnies, hamsters, mice, horses, sheep, alpacas, and ferrets.

About me: I'm a lifetime dog and cat lover, a business owner who wants to care for your dog or cat or both throughout the week/month! I'm environmentally and socially conscious and will care for your dogs and cats like "grandma" does. I spoil them a bit because this is their vacation away from you.
A typical day
About You and Your Furry: If your dog or cat is active, we will play with the ball, tug-of-war, play "hide and go seek treats" in the house, and run with a long ribbon (cats love this game)! I'll accommodate your dog or cat's favorite activities and ensure they get exercise and love while in my care. Similarly, if your dog or cat is a couch potato, I'll snuggle and hang out with them. Whatever they usually do with you, I'll do with them!
