Hi, I’m Julie 🐾 I’ve been a dog lover all my life and was lucky enough to share many wonderful years with my two Labradors, Rubes and Rio. They were my world, and during the last four years of their lives I chose not to go on holiday because I simply wanted to spend as much time with them as possible. They weren’t “just dogs” they were family, and I know that’s exactly how many owners feel too. Although I’m not ready to have another dog of my own just yet, I really miss having dogs in my life. I regularly look after my son’s lively Cockapoo, and I also care for a colleague’s dog from time to time, so I still get plenty of muddy paws, wagging tails and dog cuddles. I work full time in an office role with the flexibility to work from home on some days, which allows me to spend extra time with the dogs in my care when possible. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and I’d also consider caring for suitable dogs in my own home. I’m an active person who loves getting outdoors, whether that’s a local walk or exploring the countryside. Every dog is different, so I’m happy to adapt to their routine, energy level and personality to help them feel happy, relaxed and loved. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own and keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing they’re in safe hands.

If you're looking for someone to care for your dog as if they were their own, then I genuinely couldn't recommend Julie highly enough. We actually approached Julie because our Labrador Mabel had already chosen her! Every time we bumped into Julie on walks around the village, Mabel would make a beeline for her and refuse to leave until she'd had plenty of tummy rubs and fuss. It’s became a running joke that Mabel loves Julie more than she loves me or my husband! To the point where Julie is saved in my phone contacts as ‘Favourite Lady’. No joke 😁 After a previous negative experience with another dog sitter, we were a little apprehensive about leaving Mabel again. Julie completely put our minds at ease. Before our first booking, she took the time to meet Mabel and took her on a couple of walks so they could get to know each other properly. It meant that when we went away, Mabel already saw Julie as a friend rather than a stranger. While we were abroad, Julie looked after both Mabel and our home brilliantly. She kept us updated with regular messages and photos, watered the garden, and left the house absolutely immaculate. Knowing Mabel was so happy meant we were able to relax and enjoy our holiday without worrying. Mabel absolutely adores Julie, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy and genuinely caring dog sitter... although we'd quite like to keep her all to ourselves, so please don't book her too often!
I can’t recommend Julie highly enough! She takes good care of my Cockapoo Hugo whenever I am away. Hugo absolutely loves her! I never have to worry when I am away and it’s clear she adores dogs!

Schedule
I work full time in an office role with some flexibility to work from home. I offer dog walking, drop in visits, house sitting and boarding around my schedule, ensuring every pet receives plenty of exercise, attention and care

I understand every pet has their own routine, I will always follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks,sleep and play. Whether caring for your pet in my home or yours, I’ll provide plenty of love, attention and exercise & update you with regular photos and messages. My aim is to make your pet feel safe, happy and relaxed while you’re away.
A typical day
Each pet is different, so activities to suit their personality. From fun walks and playtime to games, cuddles and quiet time, I’ll make sure they feel happy, safe and loved.
