Looking for a loving and experienced home for your dog while you're away? I’m a former Search and Rescue K9 handler with a wealth of knowledge in dog behavior and training. Now, as a (2-legged) Physician Assistant, I have the added benefit of being able to safely administer medication to your pup or kitty if needed. My household is dog-friendly, with a toddler, so I’m looking for dogs or cats that are comfortable around little ones. Your dog will be treated like family in a safe, comfortable environment. We cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience we had with Julie! She was excellent with our pup who is not used to being away from home. She was super attentive to detail-inquiring about specifics of our normal which helped him adapt quickly. She got down on his level as soon as we arrived and was super loving. He was comfortable with her immediately. She also went above and beyond giving us updates and sending pictures throughout his stay. She was a true gem to find and we will definitely reach out to her again if we are back in the area!!

Julie was absolutely amazing with our dogs, Milo and Ralph! Milo can be a bit timid and isn’t used to being left with anyone, but Julie made him feel completely at ease. When we picked them up, they were both so happy and relaxed! Julie was quick to respond, super accommodating with our schedule, and clearly cared for our pups like they were her own. We got regular updates and photos that gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does, and it shows in how comfortable and happy our dogs were. Thank you Julie!!
Julie is AMAZING! She took great care of Milo and provided so many pictures and updates that made me feel like I was part of the action! I think even Milo had a hard time saying goodbye when it came time for pickup but hope to use her services for many more occasions!
Julie was a SAINT, and if we lived closed we would absolutely be frequent clients! We was so sweet and accommodating and our anxious old guy was comfortable instantly once we arrived. I couldn't say enough good things about our experience!

My schedule is currently flexible and I will tend to your fur baby as needed. With a little advanced planning, I can accommodate most schedules anytime.

I live on a fresh water lake that is fenced on all sides (8 ft privacy, 3ft along the water and 4ft on the other 2 sides).
A typical day
I tailor activities to each pet’s personality and energy level! For dogs, this might include neighborhood walks, structured playtime (like fetch or tug), enrichment games, or training reinforcement. For high-energy pups, I include mentally stimulating activities like puzzle toys or scent work. For more laid-back dogs or senior pets, I provide calm companionship, gentle walks, and plenty of affection. I always aim to create a fun, safe, and enriching experience that meets each pet’s needs and keeps them happy while you're away.
