I homeschool (older teenagers) so I have plenty of time available during the day to play with your pup. We love animals and it brings us joy to play with pets. The only reason we don’t have more pets is that we like having the freedom to travel.

I have a fenced in yard and a house roaming bunny, but she has her own room that can be separated from the rest of the home when your dog visits. She doesn’t mind dogs; and believe it or not, your dog won’t even mind that she’s in the house (it makes sense when you see the setup). I’ve even hosted hunting dogs and it hasn’t been an issue.

Sorry, but I DO NOT watch dogs who have a history of peeing in the house (nervous peeing and any prior use of pee pads included). Unfortunately, I have had owners who have not been honest, which is why I have had to add this to my profile. I’d prefer honesty so that none of us are caught by surprise please.
A typical day
I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of space to throw the ball. My home is just steps away from miles of walking paths. I usually walk about 4 miles a day so long walks aren’t a problem! I walk in all weather as well.

Pet care experience
Growing up we had a dog, cats, toads, snakes, mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, a chameleon, fish, and turtles. In adulthood I used to board dogs for years in my home. I am very familiar with most breeds (and their personality traits) and I owned a rare-breed mastiff (a South African Boerboel) so I am very comfortable around large dogs. I am also a teacher so I care for people too!

Julie is an excellent dog sitter! She watched my dog BMO for over a week, and provided regular updates and photos. It seemed like he had an amazing time with Julie, and he was well taken care of. I highly recommend Julie and would definitely board BMO again with her in the future.
