Pet care experience

local, lively, and lover of pets!

I have always had dogs growing up, and took a leading role in training/retraining both puppies and older rescues. My family fostered Boston Terriers through NEBTR, where I gained experience caring for older dogs, as well as dogs with a high level of medical needs (medications, physical therapy, etc.) I love furry friends of all shapes and sizes, but I cannot own one at this stage in my life due to a stipulation in my lease. I would love to be connected with some amazing animals, in and around the kennett area! Outdoor walks are one of my favorite hobbies, and I would love some company!

Safety, trust & environment

I enjoy walking in the green spaces of Kennett, away from traffic and heavily populated streets. I house sat for many family friends, and I always operate under the principle of leaving a space better than I found it!

Jules grew up with a number of dogs, which were adopted from breeders, but mostly rescues. She learned how to care for special need dogs. Jules provided care and love for small and large dogs, including regular exercise and basic training. Of the special needs dogs, the first was an aggressive chihuahua with brain damage, a Boston Terrier with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and enlarged heart. And lastly, a 'forever foster ' Boston Terrier with IBD, Degenerative Mylopothy and myriad other issues. During this time, Jules assisted with extensive prescription administration, aqua therapy, diapering and providing basic care and compassion. Jules has also provided care for a number of cats while their owners were away. I highly recommend Jules as a caregiver and companion for dogs while their owners are away or gone for just a few hours.

I do need to know if the pets are pullers in the leash, or quick to bolt if they see wildlife/other dogs -especially if they are a larger dog. I don't have the greatest strength in the game, but I do enjoy a challenge.
