I am a full-time graduate student but work from home for part of the week and have relatively flexible hours, so can always make time to drop in on your kitty or take your pup out to stretch their legs. Because of my partial remote schedule, I am also able to be an in-home companion for your pet during any out-of-town trips you might have.

I prioritize keeping your pet’s routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I carefully follow all care instructions you provide (e.g., feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications, or crating) so that your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I offer plenty of affection and attention to pets who enjoy it, while also respecting the space and boundaries of more cautious, independent, or reactive animals. For dog walks, I also come prepared with essentials like waste bags, a portable water bowl, and treats (if permitted). Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities.

Please let me know if your pet has medical concerns I should be aware of or any sensitivities (e.g., to noise, being pet in certain ways/spots). It’s also helpful to understand your pet’s walking routine, such as what equipment you use, typical walk length, and whether they’re comfortable around other people or animals. If your pet has any reactivity, pulling tendencies, or commands that they respond to, I’m happy to follow your approach to keep things consistent. Additionally, please share anything important about entering or exiting your home, such as alarm systems or pets who may try to slip out. My goal is to create a safe, low-stress environment so that your pet is as relaxed and happy as can be while you're away.
A typical day
A typical day with me is tailored to your pet’s needs and energy level. For active pets, I love getting outside for long walks (or runs!) to explore nearby trails or green spaces, and give treats if allowed. For lower-energy pets, I’m just as content staying in for relaxed play and plenty of couch-time cuddles. No matter your and your pet's preferences, I make sure to give animals exercise and affection on each visit.

I have been dog sitting for over 8 years and cat sitting for 6, and I’m a lifelong cat owner and dog lover. I have experience with a wide range of pet needs including puppies, high-energy dogs, and reactive dogs, as well as cats with all kinds of temperaments. I’m comfortable administering medications and following detailed feeding schedules or care routines, so you can feel confident your pet will receive consistent, attentive care while you’re away. I love staying active with long walks, hikes, and runs, but I’m just as happy to spend time relaxing and cuddling on the couch. Whether your pet needs lots of exercise or lots of affection (or both!), I tailor my care to fit their unique personality and needs.

Julianne did a great job taking care of my two dogs while away on vacation. She checked in every day with pictures and let me know how they were doing. She responded in a timely manner if I had a question. I was able to enjoy being away without worrying about the dogs. She is very trustworthy and a great guest. Would definitely book her again!
We were so incredibly happy with our pet sitter, Julianne. She was very kind and professional and all of our pets loved spending time with her. We have two dogs and two cats so it hasn't been easy finding the right person to spend time in our home caring for them. But, she is the perfect fit. She took care of our guys the way that we would, sent us great pictures and put up with their quirky personalities! We highly recommended Julianne!
Such a great experience with Julie! She stayed a week in house/overnight and took the best care of our two dogs and cat. She was thorough with feeding, walking the dog, and even watering the plants! We received daily updates which was so great to see. I highly recommend her and we will be booking with her in the future!
