I've been an animal lover all my life. I started watching rabbits, cats, dogs, and turtles when I was just a kid. I now have a 2 year old Heeler-Great Prynees mix that I've raised and trained from 12 weeks old! Indy is the light of my life and best friend to all. He is extremely friendly and playful with great communication and boundaries. I also was foster parent at the local shelter for eleven different dogs ranging from 4 weeks to 12 years old. I took care of these dogs for an extended period of time until they could find loving forever homes. I have plenty of experience caring for, feeding, walking, cuddling, managing reactive dogs, and training. As a self employed individual, I'm available to work within your schedule and would love to take your pups on long hikes or simple give them some belly rubs on the couch. I also offer additional dog training for $75/hr whether it's just for an hour or during a sit.

Julianne was great with my dogs, available at short notice, and responsive to my texts. She let me know when my dog's pre-existing injury got a little worse and flexibly responded to my change in his medications. She went above and beyond even bringing in the mail and keeping up with the dog hair. I have already scheduled to have her dog sit for me during another upcoming trip and I recommend her highly.

Schedule
I am self employed and extremely flexible! I can walk dogs at any point during the day and am available for home visits at anytime. For boarding, I'll be with your dogs almost the entire day.

Safety, trust & environment
I don't have a fenced yard but I do have excellent trails right across the street from my house and a kennel in my house for dogs that need to be confined when left home alone. I live in a very safe neighborhood .
Pets
A typical day
I start everyday with a nice long walk slash training session. We tend to hop on over to Horse Gulch as the sun rises and train using their kibble. After a morning nap, we do a little mid-day potty break and if the weather is nice, a little sunbathing on my front porch. Afternoon walks include hikes in La Plata canyon, trips to the river, or a longer walk up Horse Gulch! Throughout the day, I like to play with toys and spend a few minutes every hour interacting with the dogs. Puppy rates are higher and include training services. I'll continue any training you're currently working on (potty, kennel, loose leash) and start training any tricks and behaviors you're interested in as well as proper manners and impulse control.
