Fur Mom with Lots of Love to Give

Hi!! I'm Julie, a dog lover and fur mom to 3 small breed dogs I call "The Littles". More on them later. What I can offer: Your dog will be welcomed into my clean, comfy, and secure home with a large, fully-fenced backyard for safe playtime and secure potty breaks! I have a lifetime of experience and am confident caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to seniors who need special attention. Lifetime Experience: I've had dogs all my life and am comfortable handling a wide variety of needs. Safe Environment: A secure home environment with the added bonus of a fenced yard for easy access and play. Crate-Ready: My three dogs are crate-trained, and I am happy to maintain your dog's routine. While I prioritize time out of the crate as much as possible, please bring theirs along if they are used to one. Meet My Pack: I currently have three small, laid-back rescue dogs who are masters of hospitality: Gidget (10-year-old PomChi), Maple (7-year-old Pomeranian), and Sugar (8-year-old Pomeranian). My pack is very dog- and cat-friendly and is generally quiet and low-key. They will provide friendly, gentle company without being overwhelming. To ensure a smooth stay for everyone, a meet-and-greet is required before booking. Why Choose Me? Choosing me means your dog gets a true home-away-from-home experience. I believe in treating guest pups like family, with lots of love and dedicated attention. I'll provide daily updates and photos so you can relax knowing your best friend is happy and safe! I look forward to meeting you and your furry family!

Julianne provided an extraordinary care for Molly while we were away. She was constantly updating us on how Molly’s day was going. She is loving, warm, and welcoming. We will definitely book her again and would recommend her to care for fur babies.

Julianne is great with arwyn our 5 lb chihuahua. She takes care of her daily walks and specialized meals and treats her as one of her own pups. Arwyn is always happy when I come to get her, looking forward to booking with her in the future!!!

Schedule

Schedule: I typically work M-F and go in later to ensure my pets are well taken care of before I leave. My boyfriend is often home way before I am, so pets are not left alone very long. I periodically telework, and if that’s the case, I’m home the whole workday. I have webcams I use to check in to make sure all is well. I have pretty good flexibility with my hours, so if I need to go home at lunch time to care for a pet, I will, or if I need to leave because a pet isn’t acting normal, I can. On holidays and weekends, typically I’m home most of the day except for the occasional errand running or a few hours out for dinner or outing.

Safety, trust & environment

Safety at my Home: I have a house with a fenced-in yard, and any areas for hiding/escape are secured. Pets in my home are free to roam, but I do put up gates to keep them downstairs or upstairs. I have several dog kennels and beds, and the dogs are free to sleep on the furniture.

Pets

A typical day

Typical Day: A typical day where I have to work consists of a morning potty break, breakfast, possibly another potty break, treats, then naptime in the kennels. Later, when I am back, an immediate potty break, then more naps/cuddles. Then dinner, potty break and a possible walk if the temperature and weather are suitable. Then more naps/cuddles until it's almost bedtime, where there's another potty break, and then off to sleep on the bed or in their kennels. On days when I do not work, potty breaks are more frequent.

0 to 15 lbs
16 to 40 lbs
Dogs over 1 year old
Unspayed females accepted, neutered males only
Julianne can host up to 3 pets per night
What I Need From You: We all know that pets have their own personalities and some are more scared of things than others (I have two rescues, one is scared of going outside, and the other gets separation anxiety) so if you can be transparent and let me know what triggers your pet have, that would be super helpful so I could avoid any issues and keep them comfortable. If your dog is triggered by strange people, mail/delivery men, loud noises outside, etc.,that would be helpful to know as well. If your dog has a favorite bed, blanket or toy, please be sure to bring that along. Please bring leashes if your pet likes/needs walking. I do have several kennels of various sizes available as well, but sometimes a dog prefers theirs, if that’s the case, please bring theirs. I can give your pets their medication like heartworm medication, probiotic, other pill or liquid based medication. I’m not super comfortable injecting your pet so keep that in mind. (Mostly because I really hate needles myself.)
