Hi! If you're looking for a safe, dependable, and caring space for your pet, look no further. I've helped to take care of my family’s dogs throughout my life. I’m currently studying at the University of Virginia where I spend my free time housesitting and dog walking! I'm looking for a fun way to explore my city this summer while making some furry friends in the process! So I'm happily able to assist with walking, house-sitting, or visiting your dog(s) during any time you need assistance during your busy day. I have experience working with both my large dogs as well as small dogs. Regardless of the size of your pet, I’d love the opportunity to spend some time with them. I am quite playful, and I love going for long walks.

Back at home, I normally take my dogs out for walks a few times a day and play with them whenever they need to burn off any energy. I’ll be sure to do this as needed with your dogs, as well!

Julie was a wonderful companion for our 2 labs, one of whom is elderly with needs for medication. She was kind and conscientious and provided us with updates as needed. She stayed at our home and left everything clean and tidy. Will definitely ask her to sit again when we need a sitter.

Julie was an absolute lifesaver for my last-minute drop-ins! She was professional, reliable, and clearly enjoys caring for pets. She tidied up after my two cats + dog, took Sophie for a nice walk, and even left a homemade treat. Her communication was clear and consistent throughout, and she sent plenty of pictures to keep me updated. Julie truly went above and beyond—highly recommend!
Fantastic! She took wonderful care of our Ruby. Frequent updates and pictures. She even watered my flowers and washed her linens. She also dealt calmly with an AC problem until we were able to get home! I would definitely recommend her to care for your furry family member! She also left our home immaculate.
Julie was the most attentive, thoughtful, and responsible sitters we've had. She asked great questions during our interview and took thorough notes (making it clear to me that she was responsible), provided frequent updates and messages throughout our trip, and left the house in pristine shape as she left. We would absolutely hire her again!
Julie took excellent care of our dog. She was a good communicator, sent frequent photos, and even went above and beyond at our house (left us muffins and did the guest bedroom laundry). I will definitely use her again. You should too!

Schedule
I currently work remote full-time, so I can give your dog the care and attention they need in gaps in my schedule. I am also able to stay the night, too. Coming into one's home is an act of trust and a privilege, and it’s not one that I take lightly. I intend to respect the needs and privacy of my clients as well as leave the place in the same or better state when I leave. If you have any plants, I’m also a plant parent and happy to water them as needed.

- I’d love to hear your dog’s general routine. When do they normally eat? When do they have potty breaks? Are they calm or energetic? Please inform me if your dog has any specific needs or behaviors they may have that I can accommodate for. Do they have any dietary restrictions? Do they have any signs of feeling unwell? Is your dog reactive? What are their major triggers? Do they like strangers? Are there any things we're currently trying to work on? How do they socialize with others? Can they snuggle on the furniture? What level of training have they had? Are they masterminds of escape? Can they take rides in cars?
