Pet care experience

Lifelong animal lover

I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up with seven dogs, a cat, a horse, and plenty of other small pets, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I now have a 5 year old golden retriever who is incredibly calm, friendly, and gets along well with every dog he meets, which helps create an easy, low stress environment for visiting pets. I also hold a degree in Animal Science, where I focused on large animals but gained experience with small animals as well. Between my background and hands-on experience, I’m comfortable with a wide range of temperaments, sizes, and needs. I genuinely love animals and understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I live alone in a dog-friendly apartment and treat every animal in my care like my own.

Julianne was so great with my pup and very flexible when our travel plans had to change. Would definitely use her again as a dog sitter!

Schedule

My schedule already revolves around my own dog, so adding another pet fits naturally into my daily routine. I work a hybrid schedule so I am home most of the week, Samson goes on regular walks, park time, and lots of attention throughout the day.

Pets

A typical day

On a typical work-from-home day, my routine is very dog-centered. Mornings usually start with a long walk (around 2 miles) to get energy out and start the day off right. Throughout the day, I’m home working, so pets get plenty of supervision, attention, and breaks as needed. There’s time for play, enrichment, and just relaxing in a calm environment. In the evening, we head to the apartment’s dog park for more exercise and social time. Feeding is done twice a day on a consistent schedule. Overall, it’s a balanced mix of structure, activity, and downtime to keep dogs happy and comfortable.
