I'm calm, attentive, and good at noticing small changes in appetite or behavior, so I can tell you right away if something seems off. I live in Camas, so I'm close by and easy to reach. I'm available weekday evenings and weekends, and I send photo and text updates after every visit so you always know how things went. Every new client gets a free meet-and-greet.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety comes first on every walk. Before we start, we'll do a meet-and-greet so I can learn your dog's habits, triggers, and routine, and you can show me the leash, harness, and any commands or rules you use. I always keep dogs on a secure leash, stay alert to traffic, other dogs, and hazards, and avoid busy areas if your dog gets nervous. I bring water for warm days, pick up after your dog, and check the weather so walks stay comfortable. If your dog is tired or something seems off, I'll shorten the walk and let you know. After every walk, I send a photo and a quick update on how it went, including any bathroom breaks and behavior. When I'm in your home, I follow your instructions for keys, doors, and gates, make sure everything is locked and secure when I leave, and respect your privacy and property. If there's ever an emergency, I'll contact you right away and get your dog to your vet or an emergency clinic, and I'm happy to keep your vet's info on hand.

Schedule
Dog care is a regular part of my week, and I've been caring for dogs for years, starting with my friends' pets. I work a day job, so I'm available for walks on weekdays after 5pm and throughout the weekend. That means I can give your dog a proper evening walk after you get home late, or a relaxed weekend outing while you're out for the day. Because walking dogs is something I enjoy, I schedule my clients carefully and never rush. I keep my walks close to home in Camas, so I'm not stretched thin, and I'm on time. I plan ahead, so if your plans change or you need a last-minute walk, just message me and I'll do my best to fit it in. I usually take on only a few clients at a time, so each dog gets my full attention and I can build a routine with you and your pet.

- Before I care for your pet, I like to know as much as possible so they stay safe and comfortable. It helps to know: ☆ Routine: feeding times and amounts, walk schedule, litter box habits, and favorite games or toys ☆ Health: any medications, allergies, injuries, or conditions I should watch for, plus your vet's name and phone number ☆ Personality: whether your pet is shy, nervous, playful, or reactive, and what triggers them (other dogs, strangers, loud noises) ☆ Behavior: how they act with leashes, doors, or being alone, and whether they're likely to hide, bolt, or chew ☆ Household: where supplies are kept, how to lock up, and any rules for the house I'm happy to do a free meet-and-greet so I can meet your pet, see their space, and ask questions before our first visit. I'll also keep your emergency contact and vet info on hand.
