When I'm in a client's home, I treat it with the same care and respect I'd want someone to show mine. I stick closely to each pet's existing routine, since familiar schedules help dogs feel calm and secure. Doors, gates, and latches are always double-checked. I never let dogs off-leash in unsecured areas, and I stay fully attentive — phone down, eyes on your pup. For dogs on medication or with special care needs, I follow instructions exactly as given and will always communicate any concerns promptly.
Information Juliana K. would like to know about your pet
Please share anything that helps me give your pet the best care possible! I'd love to know about: Any medications and how/when to administer them Behavioral quirks — leash reactivity, anxiety triggers, things they love or hate Mobility or health limitations, especially for senior or special needs dogs Feeding schedules and dietary restrictions Emergency vet contact and any known allergies The more I know going in, the smoother (and more fun!) our time together will be. I want your pet to feel completely safe and at ease from day one.
A typical day
A typical visit or walk with me means your dog gets real physical and mental stimulation — not just a quick loop around the block. We'll explore new routes and smells, play games, and I'll match the energy and pace to whatever your dog needs that day. Senior pups get a gentle, relaxed outing; high-energy dogs get the full adventure. I always send updates and photos so you know your pup is happy and in good hands.

Pet care experience
Hi, I'm Jules — a recent Cal grad based in Berkeley this summer! While I'm new to Rover, I am absolutely not new to dogs. I've been walking, sitting, and caring for dogs for 6+ years across a wide range of needs and breeds, and I take every animal's individual personality and care requirements seriously. What sets me apart: Puppies — I have hands-on experience raising and caring for puppies, including crate training support, socialization, high-energy play, and building trust with young dogs still learning the world around them. Cats — I'm just as comfortable with cats and can handle drop-ins, feeding, litter, and playtime for feline family members too. Medication administration — I am experienced with administering oral medications, pills hidden in treats, and following vet-prescribed care routines carefully and consistently. Senior dogs — I have a gentle, patient approach with older dogs who need a slower pace, more frequent potty breaks, joint-friendly movement, and extra TLC. Dogs with disabilities — I have experience with dogs that have mobility challenges, anxiety, or other special needs, and I'm comfortable adapting care plans to meet their unique requirements. I own an English Cream Golden Retriever named Phoebe, so I know firsthand just how much love, attention, and patience dogs deserve. I'm active, energetic, and genuinely passionate about animals — your pet won't just be looked after, they'll be truly cared for.
Reviews

Juliana is the best. Lenny came back happy, tired, and tail still wagging. You can tell she genuinely loves dogs and they love her back. Couldn’t recommend her more.
Juliana was fantastic, very dependable and I highly recommended her! She was patient with our aging golden, Phoebe, and never seemed frustrated when she took longer to walk than usual. She was timely and reliable as well. We would still be using her services if it wasn’t for the fact that Phoebe no longer wants to go on walks due to her age.
Juliana has been amazing with my dog, Charlie! I travel often for work and always feel at ease knowing he’s in such caring and responsible hands. She is reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. Charlie always comes back happy and well cared for after walks and visits. I would absolutely recommend Juliana to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving pet caregiver!
Juliana is an excellent pet caregiver! She is great with my dog olive and always gives her great walks. She is careful with olive, meaning she doesn’t let her off leash, only lets her interact with other friendly dogs, and looks out for her. Juliana is awesome!
