I had a neutral experience with Julian as a drop-in sitter. He was communicative and showed up on time for all the drop-ins and he did feed my pets, which is expected. I gave a clear schedule for all the drop-ins while I was out of town, including my dogs’ and cats’ personalities, tendencies and behaviors to be aware of, along with feeding schedules so there were no surprises. Upon arriving back home, I was alarmed to see the lockbox was open, with it preset to the correct code to unlock. The dogs’ water bowls were empty, and the sliding door was open. Additionally, the cats’ litter box was filled and noticed that their bowls were completely empty; perhaps he forgot to feed them that morning, which has me questioning how much time was allotted to the cats during the drop-ins. On the stay request, I did tick the box to be sent photos/video updates during the booking period, but received none.
He is a great guy and great with dogs. He is one of the most reliable people I’ve ever met. I can always count on him when I need something

Schedule
I’m currently unemployed/working part time remotely so I have all the free time in the world. I have a dog of my own so it shouldn’t be an issue incorporating a friend into the routine
