Safety, trust & environment

The pet will always be my first priority. I am able to take pets out for as many potty breaks as necessary, sleep in the room with them if they suffer from separation anxiety, and deliver medicine in a timely manner.

Information Julia Y. would like to know about your pet

I would love to know about your pet’s comfort with strangers, physical affection level, and whether they enjoy tugging on leads or attempting to escape out of doors. If your pet is aggressive or uncomfortable around other animals or certain behaviors, please let me know.

A typical day

I love to spend quality time with pets, reading or watching tv while hanging out in the same room as them, or playing fetch/ with toys depending on their activity level. If an animal is amenable to cuddling and pets, it’s one of my favorite things to do! We can do enrichment activities as well, including tug time, sniffing out treats, and puzzles.

Pet care experience

I have a lovely older black lab mix named Izzie and have fostered 30+ dogs from puppies to seniors. Julia is fantastic with our 2 dogs. She makes sure each receives dedicated time and attention during her visits/stay. Julia is also very communicative, follows care instructions to a T, and sends great pics! Would highly recommend booking Julia to help care for your pups.

Julia was amazing with my highly anxious dogs! She really knows how to interact with dogs to put them at ease. She took care of my two dogs and three cats, all of whom need medications. My animals clearly enjoyed their time with her and I would happily hire her again.

I’ve known Julia for years, and I can honestly say she’s one of the most trustworthy and dog-loving people I know. She has tons of experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, and she’s always incredibly patient, gentle, and responsible. She’s great at reading the needs of dogs and has done amazing work with the Duke Puppy Kindergarten, which really speaks to her skill and dedication. If you’re looking for someone reliable who truly loves animals and knows what she’s doing, I can’t recommend her enough!
