I have grown up with dogs my whole life, including my fur baby that I raised since she was a puppy. I have experience with puppies, kittens, senior cats, and all ages of dogs. I also used to volunteer at the Halo Rescue Cat Adoption Center when I first started pet sitting. I love all animals, including sea turtles!

The key to effective pet care is constant supervision when pets are outside. This is where my experience as an environmental educator comes in as it has fine-tuned my ability to be constantly aware of my surroundings. Also, I am used to being a clear thinker in chaotic situations from my experience working with children.

Julia did an amazing job caring for not only our pup but also our two rats! She kept us feeling comfortable throughout our trip by providing consistent updates and plenty of photos. She treated our home with great respect and truly went above and beyond. We couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and trustworthy.

Schedule

I am currently working as a non-profit sea turtle biologist and I am most available on weekends and select weekdays. Due to my flexible & partially remote schedule, I can take time throughout the day for potty breaks and walks.
