Responsible pet loving PhD student
I grew up with animals and have always had the care of furry and feathered friends as a big part of my life. As an animal lover who can't have my own pet until I finish grad school, I often pet sit for friends and family and have experience with pets of all kinds and all ages. Over the past year, I've also pet sat internationally through TrustedHousesitters while traveling for research. Now that I'm settled down in DC I hope to find some local furry friends to care for!

I have a pet friendly apartment and there are no other pets or humans in the space to make the environment stressful. I have everything needed to give kitties a fun and relaxing stay.

Julia was amazing with Juno, she's a shy cat so she usually hides from the sitter but they seemed to have been best friends this time! Would definitely hire again!
Julia did an absolutely wonderful job with Charlie Tuna. She spent extensive quality time with him, gave him twice daily meds, and was super communicative with me throughout (and is quite the cat photographer). When I got home, Charlie Tuna was calm and happy. I’d love to have Julia catsit again!
Julia has cared for my cat, Bernie, several times! She is incredibly attentive, loving, and very communicative. Bernie can be a bit shy, but he always comes out to play when Julia is around!

Schedule
I'm currently working on my dissertation from home and have a good deal of flexibility to offer pet care and attention! My exact availability may vary, but I will never commit to a pet sit unless I am able to be around and attentive the entire time.
