Pet care experience
Marin native animal enthusiast
I grew up with my Australian Shepherd, who was part of my family my entire life, and I helped care for her throughout her senior years. I now have my own cat, Emerald, and my family recently welcomed a terrier puppy named Edna. I also have experience caring for friends’ cats, as well as a neighbor’s and family friend’s Chihuahua and a family’s Golden Retriever. I’m comfortable caring for both cats and dogs, including pets with different personalities and energy levels. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive, and I take pride in providing the same loving care I would want for my own pets.

Ratings and reviews
Julia has a magic touch with animals. She is extremely sensitive and carrying and kind when it comes to animal needs whether it’s a cat or a dog. she is extraordinarily responsible and any one would be lucky to have her as a dog walker because she is very dependable and trustworthy! She works in the medical field so she understands what it means to take something important to someone and cherish it. She is currently caring for a new puppy so she is fresh on all of the basics of a dog needs.
Couldn't ask for a better dog sitter! She has watched my dogs multiple times, and I can't say enough good things about her. She is incredibly kind-hearted, genuine, and treats every animal with so much love and attentiveness. Knowing my dogs are safe, happy, and well-cared for gives me complete peace of mind whenever I'm away. If you're looking for someone who is reliable, caring, and truly an animal lover at heart, I highly recommend her!

Schedule
I’ll be leaving my medical assistant position as I prepare to start PA school next year, so I’ll have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to pet care. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week, including weekends. I’m able to spend quality time with pets rather than simply stopping by, and I’m happy to work around their individual routines and needs. I’m excited to use this time before PA school doing something I genuinely love!

- I’d love to know about a pet’s personality, daily routine, favorite activities, and anything that makes them feel comfortable or happy. It’s also important to know about their feeding schedule, medications, allergies, energy level, and any behaviors or special needs I should be aware of. Most importantly, I want to know what makes your pet unique so I can care for them like my own!
