I've been caring for pets most of my life. Growing up, my family had large dogs, including a Golden Retriever and a Bernese Mountain Dog. We adopted our most recent dog, Sophie, while I was in high school, and I took an active role in her training and care. We raised our dogs to be gentle, well-behaved family members. For the past five years, I've also been the proud owner of two spunky cats. Caring for them has given me experience with pets who have different personalities and medical needs. My calico has asthma and is prone to bladder crystals, while my tuxedo has sensitive skin and a sensitive stomach. Meeting their individual needs has taught me the importance of patience, attention to detail, and recognizing when something isn't quite right.
