I have had dogs my whole life and have taken care of a variety of dogs since I was young, including puppies and senior dogs. I also have raised goats and chickens for years. I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of outdoor playtime and access to acres of wooded trails outside my backyard. I love hiking with dogs as well as playing outside. I treat each dog like a member of my family when they stay with me ensuring they are comfortable, loved, and getting their needs met. I look forward to getting to know your dog.

Julia was AWESOME. In fact, I worried that our dog, Tucker, would end up preferring to stay with her rather than come home with us! She watched our very enthusiastic 1.5 year old golden retriever for the weekend, and took him on hikes, had him splashing in brooks and meeting goats. She was easy to get in touch with, accepted our last minute booking (including squeezing in a meet and greet prior) and sent great photos. 10/10 recommend!!
Julia is an extremely responsible and thoughtful person, who with great compassion intuits well the dog’s needs. She is also a great communicator who understands the importance of getting to know your dog, and who provides great care. Julia looked after my rescue Chihuahua for a weekend, and went about above and beyond to make sure my dog had a great experience. She even took her for a stroll along the lake shore, which I'm sure my dog loved. Julia will make sure that whatever your dog's needs are, they will be well met. I'd highly recommend her. I have witnessed how dogs naturally gravitate towards her. Your pet will be in loving and competent hands.
We couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we left our dog in her care, we felt completely at ease. She treated him like he was her own-lots of cuddles, playtime and fun on a beautiful fenced property. It meant so much to know he wasn’t just being looked after, but genuinely loved while we were away. When we came home, he was calm, happy and clearly formed a sweet bond with his sitter. It’s rare to find someone who cares this much. Julia is a true dog person. We are very grateful and will definitely book again. Highly, highly recommend. .

I have a fully fenced in yard for dogs to safely run around. I follow clear expectations provided by the owner and individualize care to the needs of each dog ensuring they are safe, happy, and comfortable.

I have a fenced in yard to play and love to hike on the trails from my house. I incorporate a lot of outdoor time and exercise as needed for each dog, as well as plenty of snuggles on the couch.
