Pet care experience
Experienced Veterinary Student
Hi! I’m a fourth-year veterinary student with extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats in both clinical and home settings. Through my veterinary training, I’ve worked with pets of all ages, temperaments, and medical needs, including administering medications, monitoring health, and recognizing early signs of illness. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and animals that require a little extra patience or special care. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I treat every pet like my own and provide attentive, reliable care you can trust. With my veterinary background, you can also feel confident that your pet is in knowledgeable hands if any health concerns arise.

Ratings and reviews
Julia took on what felt like a total wildcard situation for Rover sitters. I have a grown adult dog, six chickens, and five horses on my farm, and I was gone for an entire week. Zero issues the entire time. Julia took care of everyone and right on schedule. Even the chickens were happy, paying her daily with some of the biggest eggs we’ve seen. Horses were groomed (at least, until they decided mud baths are better), and our dog was happy as ever. I was nervous at first due to the request, which was well unorthodox for Rover, but she handled it with ease. Truly couldn’t ask for a better, more responsible and knowledgeable caregiver on Rover.
When I headed out for a week of camping, Julia stepped in to watch my two cats and made it look easy. They got every meal on time (huge deal to them), playtime, and plenty of attention. She even sent me some cute funny vids. Both kits were chill and happy when I returned, like I never left. She’s a total pro and a super caring pet sitter.
I left my golden retriever with Julia while I was on vacation and she did great. Daily pics and updates kept me at ease the whole trip. My dog came back tired, spoiled, and clearly adored. Julia is the kind of responsible caregiver you can actually relax knowing your pet is with, not to mention she’s a vet! I knew Buttercup was in the safest hands possible. 100% recommend her on Rover!

Schedule
’m a fourth-year veterinary student currently in clinical rotations during the week, so I’m typically available for morning visits, evening walks, and overnight care on weekdays. My schedule is usually more flexible on weekends for longer visits or boarding.
